This things picture quality is amazing. The sound back and forth works really well. It took seconds to plug in and was ready to go. I like that it shows the temp of the room as my house can get a little cold during winter.

It's good! It doesn't have the feature where you can move the camera from the device which is a bit annoying but that's the only thing that I would've liked to see more.

I needed a portable camera for in our bedroom and on the go at relatives houses. For $30 this is perfect. I can see my baby breathing, hear him perfectly and play sounds (like shushing) to calm. You do need to plug in the camera but the parent monitor is rechargeable. The only other issue is that unless it have a ledge outside the crib, you'll have to MacGyver the set up so it's not too close or in the baby's crib but that is still not a deal breaker

The size of the monitor and the camera quality is great! However, this takes more than 24 hours to charge while not in use. Once charged, the battery will last 2-3 days with light use (3-4 Hours/Day). In hindsight, I wish that I had seen the type of charging port before ordering. It is the “old style” AC Adapter which are known to quickly give issue with these sorts of products. For that reason, I would return this if I had not rid of the packaging almost immediately. It will work fine for now, but I do not see it lasting the 4+ years that our other did from an off-brand company.

I don't write many reviews but I just have to say I got this for 29.99 on sale and it is exactly what I was looking for. It has just enough bells & whistles without going overboard. The screen is small but is plenty for what you need it for. Very easy to set up and the battery lasts up to 12 hours so you can carry the monitor with you anywhere you need. The sound is great and I love the muted light that is on the camera unit. I chose this primarily for the price point and Leapfrog is a great brand. We previously had an owlet monitor which was extremely expensive and you had to use Wi-fi with your phone. We barely used it and I ended up selling it. Then, our baby turned 2 and started trying to climb out of the crib so I needed something to ensure that he was safe without interrupting his sleep. I did not want anyone being able to hack into the monitor so Wi-fi was not the best option for us. Also, I don't necessarily want it to hook up to my phone when I can just use the small handheld unit when I need it in another room. Technology has come such a long way that now things that were really high tech are considered basic, so that is where this works out to my advantage and it is perfect.
