Worked really great but not secure. The camera moved on its own at past 3am. No one in the household was awake at the time as could be seen in the camera. Tried to recalibrate to see if the position would be the same as the camera view but it was not which means it was purposefully moved to that side of the room. Tried to connect with customer support but not successful.

In the Baby Monitor world there are quite a few options but everything feels stale and outdated. 480p or 720p resolution. Small monitor screens. Making a choice of a closed loop network vs. wifi only options. This Eufy E20 fixes most of that. You now have 2k clarity. A large visual monitor (which I keep forgetting is not touchscreen) and the option to have wifi turned on and off. The flexibility is great. This is a big upgrade from my DXR-8 camera. However I think the software/firmware needs some love. I notice dropped connections which does NOT automatically resume, you need to click a button on the monitor to manually reconnect. Now if you are paying attention to the camera this is fine, but what happens when you are sleeping and it loses connection and now you don't get video or audio of your baby. Thats a big issue. The camera needs an automatic retry feature to fix any connection issues or a software/firmware patch needs to come out to fix this! I also have not yet tried 2 cameras. I will update my review when I buy a 2nd baby monitor and report back how this operates when you have 2 cameras on 1 monitor.

This monitor never works it constantly disconnects from the signal despite the fact that we have over 600Mb download speed on our WiFi and live in a small apartment. I am 1 month postpartum and I’m having severe anxiety because I never know when the camera is going to just randomly stop working in the middle of the night. It doesn’t even work when I’m standing outside my baby’s room. Complete waste of money, please do not buy this.

My son who scours the Internet for the best electronic products found this baby monitor to be the best. I have this, as a grandmother, and they have it in their home too. It’s really a great unit.

This is my second Eufy baby monitor that we have had in the last 2 years. Our original one (the older model) began to lose connection so I decided I wanted to upgrade to the WiFi model. The picture quality is excellent and the screen size is perfect. To my disappointment, the camera did start to lose connection and would only reconnect if I would go in to my son’s room and power the camera on and off (similar to other reviews),After dealing with this issue for a couple weeks I reached out to their customer service to request a replacement. They were extremely understanding and had a replacement to me the following day and provided a return label for the camera that was disconnecting. The replacement was disconnecting almost immediately so I was obviously very irritated at this point and requested a refund. Their customer service was very responsive and apologetic and was willing to refund me and take back both cameras.Luckily before I returned the camera there was an update that came out to fix bugs and connection issues. Since that update we have not lost connection one time. I contacted customer service again with an update and they were happy that it was now working and want to review the camera that was malfunctioning to find the root of the issue to make quality improvements.I was ready to leave this brand but because of their customer service and their ability to acknowledge the issues and wanting to make improvements, I will remain a Eufy customer for all of my baby monitor needs.

I was excited about the wifi feature but after using it for several months, I am disappointed in the monitor. I need to hold the power button for quite awhile for it to turn on/off. Once on, it can take the monitor up to 5 minutes *5 MINUTES* to move the camera or zoom in/out. This feedback should be immediate. In that amount of time, I could have check on my baby myself. Unacceptable. Lastly, like other reviewers said, it regularly does not load the video and says “unable to view video”. Very disappointed.

Summary: We have used and tried many different baby monitor brands and this Eufy E20 is one of the best available.Pros:- Support 24/7 recording via SD card storage- 2K resolution- Has separate dedicated wireless display to allow you to watch your baby anywhere (frees up your phone)- Support pan and tilt- Has built-in white noise function.- Night vision works great.Neutral- Cost a little bit more than entry level baby monitor, but in our opinion is worth it.- App is not as intuitive as some of the other top competitors in the market (took us forever to find the 24/7 recording history in the app).

I hear my baby cry minutes before the monitor even turns on to notify me (when on sleep mode). The point of the monitor is to notify you the second they make noise or move, otherwise you could miss something dangerous happening in the crib or room relying on this thing. I have a $30 one that doesn't have video, that the second the baby makes a sound the monitor goes off. You would think for this price you would get the same monitor quality plus video. Its basically just a camera with a lagged monitor. In order to fix the lag you need to keep it off sleep mode, but then you hear white noise all night and can't sleep. I am disappointed in this product.

Updated on 1/28 as Eufy provided great customer service after I complained.Original review:----Pros- Overall functioning well- Image is clearCons- No RTSP support, even though official website claims to have it, and the Eufy Baby app also has the option. It just doesn’t connect (my other 3 normal Eufy camera works fine).- Night vision light is visible in the dark though not bright. In some other baby cameras they use 940nm infrared which has less glow.

Smart connect should allow the monitor to connect over our mesh wifi network when the point to point connection is weak. It doesn't work which makes it useless in a medium size home. The signal even dropped to the lowest bar from the room next door. I had two of these, both with the latest firmware, both with the same issue and no support from eufy

This baby monitor is finally an up to date camera that surpasses other cameras that is lacking in this product space, every other company IMO is far behind considering today’s technology, and overpriced compared to this. Everything works great, no complaints. As for the others who complained about the connectivity issues, I personally have not experienced them.
