Old flapper disintegrated. These are not easy to find since I have the old style filler separate from the hole. Had to put Vaseline around it to seal well. It’s an old toilet in an old 1908 house. Wife does not want it replaced.

I have an old Eljer toilet tank. I have tried a few different tank balls. Each still had very slow leaks which would cause ghost flushes. I was going toget some weights to put on the ball and weight it down to hopefully cause a tighter seal. Well I looked around and I read the reviews for this ball. One reviewer mentioned it had softer rubber on the bottom. It did and that created a tight seal and I have absolutely no leaks.Thank you my fellow reviewers. Now I am going to put some bricks in the tank so it won't need so much water to fill the tank up.Bob

We have an older home and this valve was used in the toilet. The current one started to malfunction. We looked locally at hardware stores for this item, but had no luck. My husband decided to check Amazon and found it! The price was cost-effective allowing us to replace the valve instead of the whole toilet. Arrived in a few days after ordered and my husband installed it that evening. Works like a charm!

This tank ball works well in my Kohler toilet. The tank drains completely without holding the handle and the tank ball does not leak after the tank refills. The generic tank balls found in local big box and hardware stores don't work well for me.Oddly, the ball didn't want to tighten on the threaded shaft but seems to "cam" at a certain point. Unsure if this is a bug or a feature but it is working.
