These are great and work so much easier and cleaner than wax rings. Never going back.

It's been a few months now since installation. No leaks, so working well, plus the seal fitted in seconds. I have not used one of these no-wax seals before, but I am now the converted. No more wax for me !

This toilet seal is the highly rated so we tried it. The wax seals were constantly leaking on the toilet. The new seal worked like a charm! We will only be using these seals from now on.

It was an easy install after I replaced the bathroom floor. The floor was higher than the pipe so I used the enclosed spacer ring. It all went together easily and tightening the floor bolts compressed the spacer and made a tight seal. Works great, no leaks.

Good design, good seal, if installed correctly. Pay attention to instructions on proper projection above floor. If the flange is well below the finished floor surface, there is a separate spacer provided to go under the seal. If flush to + 1/4", use just the seal with attached foam spacer. If the flange is + > 1/4", remove the foam spacer attached to the seal, and use just the seal on top of the flange. The advantage of this over wax is that you can reposition the toilet, as needed. With wax, you only have one shot to get it right. If you set the toilet down off-center with wax, you may have to pitch it and start over. If installing a toilet alone--especially with heavier one-piece toilets and/or in tight spaces, I use a small furniture dolly (from Harbor Freight) to move the toilet into exact position over the flange, then lift the toilet, kick the dolly out of the way, then set the toilet straight down on the flange bolts.

I've installed a lot of toilets over the years and messing with the wax ring can be one of the more 'finicky' parts of the job so I thought this product looked like a perfect solution. Sadly, it's only so-so.Hats off to the Fluidmaster folks because this is an innovative solution; it looks like it should work well if the top of the flange is slightly (3/8" to 1/8") ABOVE or BELOW the finish floor. But it doesn't fit if the flange is flush with the finish floor and you follow the directions, which say to use the included extender ring. The source of the problem (and I assume the reason so many reviews that say "it doesn't work for my toilet" ) is that the directions say to use extender ring when the flange is flush with the floor. The extender ring is simply too thick (about 1/2") and the toilet won't firmly rest on the floor (and you don't dare over-tighten the mounting bolts). The bottom line (no pun intended) is that the extender ring is too thick to use with a flange that is flush with the finish floor. And there's just a little too much of a gap (maybe 1/8" or so) to get a firm seal when using it without the extender ring.I installed mine (flange flush with finish floor) without the extender ring. So far, so good butt we'll see how that works out - I'm nervous about the potential for leaks. Guess I'll find out ... but what a hassle ... and an even bigger disaster if it leaks.Again, the product is well-made and would be super-easy to use in the right situations. The instructions and video are well done. But if your flange is flush with the finish floor and you follow the directions (i.e., use the extender ring), it doesn't fit.If I could offer a suggestion to Fluidmaster, it would be to include two partial-height extender rings (a thick and a thin ring) rather than one full-height extender ring.

I purchased both the wax one and this "better than wax" one, and tried the wax one first. unfortunately the wax one didn't work as my floor was not even so when I set the toilet on, the toilet instantly crashed the wax ring. With some doubt, I tried this, it worked so well that made me wondering how did it work, but that's not important, I just hope it can last 10 years as advertised and save me all the troubles.

It seems good product but unfortunately didn’t fit for my purposes because the black base ring wasn’t included.
