This is an awesome little tool. I had purchased 15 knobs for my kitchen cabinets that never had any previously so there were no existing holes. I was nervous on how I would install these without them looking sloppy and uneven. I used this tool to mark the spots, still nervous, after only the first knob install, the rest were super easy. In less than an hour the job was complete and they are perfectly straight.

This template works great when you want to install cabinet knobs. I would suggest using putty to position the knobs before mark the template which hole to choose. It makes installation much easier if assisting with putty with this template.

I purchased this template to install handles in our newly remodeled kitchen. Be aware that it does not allow any adjustment of where of the handle holes are drilled but it will ensure they are all installed exactly the same. I used handles with a 4" spread so, to keep from marking the wrong holes, I taped over the 3" and 3.5" holes. After marking the holes I used a set punch to ding the wood which kept the drill bit from wandering. Overall a simple job that anyone with basic DIY skills can accomplish, especially with this jig. This is very simple tool but it worked perfectly for its intended purpose and required no setup to use.

Another great template for all the handy people and wood workers out there. Makes marking and places the holes for you pulls fast and easy, and it is a very inexpensive addition to your tool collection. Would highly recommend to anyone, you can't beat the price and for all you home owners out there who have cabinets that did not come with pulls or handles this template and its sister template for handles make it a breeze to put them on like a professional. And you won't believe the difference it can make in your room simply by adding the pulls and handles.

I wanted to install handles and knobs on my kitchen cabinets. Instead of doing an obscene amount of math and making templates of my own I relied on this gem. This device saved me hours and I couldn't be happier. I was able to successfully and quickly install knobs and handles with precision.I did measure twice and drill once just in case, but it was overkill. The markings on this are very clear and easy to read. It also squarely lines up to edges and can stay in place with just one hand applying pressure to it.If you are considering installing hardware to cabinets of any sort I highly recommend this.

Nice template. Better than the drawer version. Plenty of holes to choose from when installing knobs. Easy to drill if you can't find one you like. I suggest using a spring clamp or some painters tape to hold it in place while marking. Even better clamp in place and use a nail set and hammer to make a starter hole. Saved me a ton of time, not having to make my own jigs. Four stars cause I did have to drill my own hole in it to get my knob placement right.

I installed 37 pulls and 7 knobs to install. I was reluctant at first because once you drill the holes thats it...no redo's. This template worked great. It made the job go fast and the holes were exact. I used a spring loaded center punch to mark the holes instead of a pencil or pen. The punch just fit in the template and it was tight enough to not move around. The punch holes were exactly in the middle of the template holes. The punch holes also allowed the drill bit to drill exactly in the right spot without wandering. One thing to be careful with. On my drawers for example. In the bathroom the vanity drawers were not exactly centered. Some were slightly to the right or to the left. Centering each knob on each drawer would look bad overall. I measured the top and bottom drawer centers. I then used a straight edge to mark a straight line from the top drawer to the bottom drawer through the 2 middle drawers. I used that line to mount all of the knobs. When you stand back the knobs look centered, even though the drawers are a few millimeters left or right of each other. It my kitchen I also had several drawers that were not exactly centered with each other. They were only slightly off. I had to adjust some of the pull hole locations so that they all lined up and looked uniform. If one drawer is crooked or off the installation will look weird if there are several in a row. The cabinet doors were also not exactly level with each other. I spend some time before I drilled any holes leveling the doors, making adjustments to them until they were all level. If the pulls are on the bottom of the doors level the bottoms. If the pulls are on the tops level the tops. What is noticable is where the pulls are. Level and true the doors before drilling!Good Luck! After the job was done I was amazed at how well it turned out. Use a punch before you drill !!
