The concept is great but it was unsturdy and the screws quickly stripped the wood. To solve for this, we screwed in 2.5 inch wood screws to each end for stability.

This swing is quite large so unless you have a good size cage for your parrot you may want to reconsider.Overall it is a very nice item and it's made well my bird enjoys it it does take up a lot of space so take that into consideration

I never got to use this for my Moluccan Cockatoo. One of the screws on one side was stripped and wouldn't stay attached. The main perch was deceiving in size in the photo with the macaw and cockatiel. It's actually only an inch thick. Besides it being broken, it's too small for my bird anyway. ☹️
