I must be the luckiest person to have bought one of these that is Flawless or everyone with a negative review is doing something wrong?Delivered by 2 young men who were very careful bringing it to my home. Everything was perfect in the Box.Assembly took about an hour and I quite enjoyed the process. Everything fit together nicely and the quality of everything felt very Sturdy! Put in some Oil and Gas and it started right up!Operation - Worked Great! The front Loaded in large limbs with ease and makes short work of small branches. As far as negative reviews, there has been a lot of negative reactions on here - suggesting the Top Loader was Useless??Are they Kidding? Or do they just not know how to use it?I had a Truckload of Blackberry bushes and Twigs, Sticks, Vines and so on that was too complicated for the front loader so I shoved it all into the Top Hopper and it worked Flawless! In Fact - I ended up using the Top Loader for the Majority of the time!Even with Large Limbs it worked great! Oblong 3ish inch limbs that aren't straight don't feed right in the front but can be manipulated on the Top Loader! It worked so good! How are people having problems??Overall, I love this thing - works great, solid build and makes short work of your Yard Waste. If you're on the fence of which one to get, it's gotta be this one!!

this machine was more than I expected. It was small and heavy. Didn't look like it was up for the job. After reading a lot of negative comments on it I was sure I had made a mistake, But wow! after I got it together and running I found out that this is a very hungry beast and get out of the way when it gets a hold of branch!. I just love it! Very useful around the yard and garden. Easy to move around the yard and easy to store as it takes very little room. Happy, Happy!!

I've had the chipper shredder for some months and it has been heavily used. The chipper and shredder has been invaluable on our acreage. It does a great job managing my orchard, vines and berry bushes. Because it is easily transported from one site to the next it makes each projects very easy. The shredder I use to pulverize dry leaves and grass, which I use as poultry bedding. The bagging option is invaluable. The availability of replacement blades at a very reasonable price is wonderful. Any support I required was prompt and very helpful.

Used this chipper now for 2 years. As the wife is big gardener the mulch is much needed. It handles pretty much anything I feed it up to about 2" of hard wood but that is to be expected. Can use without the bag if you don't care where the chips go as this is so powerful the material sprays pretty far. Using the bag allows you to put it right where you want it.Was easy for me to assemble but I am pretty handy. You are supposed to sharpen the branch blades periodically and I can do that but requires some disassembly. Had to deal with an issue and Paul with customer service was fantastic.PROS- Easy start every time, even after sitting through the winter- Enough power to chew through most everything, though had some difficulty with larger diameter aged oak, but that is to be expected.- Large gas tank so runs for as long as I can.- Large tires make it easy to move around the yard.- Great customer serviceCONS- Bolts holding bag on are not user friendly (went to hardware store and replaced with plastic head thumb screws. easy fix)Recommend for anyone who needs a step above the cheap, low power garden waste shredders. This has the power to handle branches and other garden waste making great mulch.UPDATE: Had a couple of broken parts, mostly my own fault for not stopping and taking it apart when it started to make a funny noise. Contacted customer support and Paul was able to get me some parts in just a week. Installed the new blades, put it back together and it started up first pull. Note: you should check the blades and the hammers periodically after a lot of use.

Tried to start this thing a second time and does not start. Sounds like no ignition. Removed and cleaned spark plug (didn't change gapping) re-installed. Still won't start. I'm left contacting service again but disappointed with this outcome. This is a lot of money for a machine that only works the first time. For completeness. Here's my initial review:Got my Landworks Chipper, Shredder a couple of weeks ago. Overall this is a good machine and works as advertised.Package showed up with a small tear in the cardboard but it was packed super solid in high density foam and triple sided cardboard corners. Inside the machine was safe and sound. It took me about an hour to set it up. Time was extended because my ratchet is busted so I was left using my hand wrenches. But set up was straight forward. One thing to watch out for which others have pointed out is that you can't get to the oil filer with the side chute (branch hopper) installed so you'll want to do that before installing it. It's not a big deal, the side chute comes off by loosening to bottom bolts and removing the top bolt....takes 2 minutes.ANOTHER IMPORTANT MENTION HERE: THE ENGING MANUAL CALLS FOR 15w-40 FOUR-STROKE OIL. I CONTACTED SERVICE AS THIS SEEMED ODD. THEY SAID THE MANUAL IS WRONG AND TO USE 10w-30. Service by the way was fantastic and super responsive. Could not be more pleased with how they dealt with my questions. The machine started up first attempt. I had a 10x10x5 pile of branches and yard debris to chip and shred down. The machine reduced this down to a 4x8x1 pile, so about a 15:1 volume reduction. My one knock on the machine is the hopper (leaf chute on top) has a narrow throat. Maybe that's the way all these machines are built in order to avoid someone doing something stupid and shoving their hand down in the throat (bad idea of course). So feeding the machine had to done in a methodical fashion. I used a stick to help things a long when the chute got a little stuffed up but that was the one issue knocking this down from a 5 star to a 4 star review.Overall, glad I bought this machine. Works as advertised. We live on an acre filled with oak, olive, and other trees so this is going to come in handy.
