These planters are definitely cheap feeling, and were also packaged very cheaply. Mine miraculously didn't arrive damaged but I wouldn't be surprised to find dents or scrapes since it was literally just the two planters tossed in a box with the hardware and that's it. Regardless, they're decent planters. They do feel cheap and it shows when it's full of dirt and watered. They've lasted a couple months but they're already showing a large amount of wear & tear on the bottom. That said, the hooks are very strong. It's been hanging over my porch railing for some time and no wind storm or blizzard has gotten them to fall down yet.

This was a very reasonable price for nice quality planters. There are no drainage holes in the bottom, which I am not so sure about... I wanted to fill these with soil (as opposed to smaller pots being placed inside of them), but I am not sure without drainage holes if that will work. They are nice looking and hook over my railing just fine. They aren't huge, so check the measurements. It is winter as I write this, so I will update my review if needed when I actually get to plant in them.

These planters are great. I have them clipped up on my fence railings and they work perfectly. They are not large in size, but large enough to hold some flowers or herbs without giving the impression of being cramped or anything. They are lightweight but seem to be quite strong and should not break under the weight of the soil and plants. The hooks that come with them are very strong and super easy to put together. No problems there.I like the drainage holes, so that you don't have to worry about water pooling up inside. Installation was extremely easy — all you have to do is to hook them on and you’re done. They are planters so they're not going to change your life or anything, but they are quite useful and they look nice. If you want to enhance your outdoor area in a simple way, then these are perfect for you. Five stars.

I really liked the 12” planters from Lalagreen in the same style so I ordered the 15” as well. Gloss black finish is well done and resist chipping and flaking during assembly. Each hanger requires 2 machine screws with a nut. My recommendation is to thread the screws from the outside to minimize damage to whatever you hang these on and especially if hung on wood. Threading from the inside out leaves the end of the screw protruding into what you hang them on. This is not the easiest thing to do and get snug without a low profile screwdriver. And a small socket or crescent wrench. Although I didn’t try it, if I assembled these again I’d probably just use a single heavy duty zip tie on each hanger. As far as the size goes I preferred the 12” to the 15” and found the 12” set to be better suited for growing multiple varieties with more pot space overall.Constructed in a very basic but classic manor, these do look great and are well suited for herbs, flowers and maybe strawberries.I found it reasonable to bend the hangers to fit whatever you’re hanging these on without any negative outcome. You can bend these 90 degrees or fold them relatively flat if necessaryGood drainage to water retention ratio. Sturdy construction.Overall I like these planters but the 12” is my personally preferred size of the 2.

I'm happy with these railing planters and can't wait to fill them with flowers and herbs in the coming month or so.They come in a pack of 2 railing planters and I feel that is good for the price point.I love the smooth look and feel. The rich black is consistent throughout and I feel it'll make the flowers and herb colors really stand out. The planters feel durable and strong but lightweight at the same time. I like the size and believe they will hold a decent amount of plants. These planters are perfect for my needs and I can't wait to fill them with plants.

I just got these and assembled the hooks on them. They are very sturdy, and a nice size. Haven't hung them yet because we're still a month or two away from growing season where I live, but I think they will look very nice on my balcony. Only thing to keep in mind is that the width of the hooks is not super wide. Like they'll fit over the 2-in side of a 2x whatever board, but if your handrails are thicker than that, you would probably have to modify them somehow. But they do seem very sturdy and like a good product. I'm curious to see how they're going to hold up over time with the water exposure. Also very easy to assemble, only one of little holes to put the bolt through was a little bit tight, but even that I was able to get without any extra tools. Overall, very pleased with this product so far.

These planters are really cute but do note they are only for narrow railings or the tops of a fence. If your railings measure more than 2-1/2” wide, they won’t fit.I don’t have caps on the railings where I’m going to use these so the size increment will work for my needs. You must assemble the hangers onto the planters yourself with the supplied screws and nuts. Do this on a counter or area where you won’t lose the nuts! They are very small!. The hangers also have holes at the end of the loop that goes over the railing in case you want to secure them to your railing with screws. Extra screws are not provided for this, though. There are drainage holes in the bottoms of each planter. The quality of the metal is a little thin & it flexes fairly easily. They might also dent easily so you want to make sure you hang them where they can’t be bumped into by anything! It’s wintertime here where I live, currently, so I’m not planting anything or installing them right away, although, I did check for the sizing, etc. Based on the thinner metal, I probably will be storing them inside during the winter so they will last.I’m giving them 5 stars because, although they seem a little bit cheap, it’s a pretty fair price for a set of 2. I think, if you take care of them and store them in the garage or shed if you get harsh winters, they will last for a few years.
