I was searching for an over the 'rod iron railing' on my balcony as a planter. This is perfect& I am very happy with the look. I did add a layer of wood fill to secure it's security on rail.

Very happy with this purchase. These planters fit perfectly over my deck rail and just look beautiful filled with colorful wave petunias. They're a great size, easy to clean, lightweight, and look like expensive wood. They blend in well with the deck. Great purchase for great price! Highly recommend.

Sturdy for light plastic. Drains well. Added stone for drainage & weight so they don’t blow off the railing! These are lighting color than the ‘matching’ round one I got. But still like them. Using for herbs & cherry tomatoes!

These are nice. Look like wood with metal bands. Rustic. They have 2 different widths on the bottom for different sized rails. So there is a raised area on the inside in the middle. My rails are rounded so i threaded twine through the drain holes in the bottom in order to tie them onto the railings. They're very secure that way. They're not cheap. These are quite deep and hold a LOT of potting soil. So not a money saver. But really, is gardening ever cheap? Not too heavy when filled. I really like them. I've gotten compliments from the neighbors.

Overall, the product is nice . The pro’s: it is the size the seller described ,and lightweight It is also stylish decor that you can mix with anything. It is versatile. You can place it omg he ground or balcony rail. You can use it for your flowers or planter .The con’s: it noticed in some of the reviews that consumers did state that it is it real wood . Actually it is not . It is a type of plastic . It should state faux wood . It would be really nice not to mislead the consumer because this is where I was mislead .I believe consumers would still buy it . It looks so nice and I have already received complements on it .The other issue is that the planter did to quite fire my balcony as described .It measured on line of 2 inch to near 4 inches as described on line. Mine measure around close to 6. However , I made a positive experience out of this . I could see myself using the planter for other things .I decided to keep it . I bought some brownish / black soft reinforcements to make it tighter and just secured it more with zip ties . Therefore , it barely even moves and is more stable .Those were the only two issues . I would have given it 5 stars if it were described and fit my railing .Make sure you ask the seller the size and if it is faux or real .Otherwise, I recommend it . It is well made for the type of plastic . It is sturdy and stylish .

They seem to be well-made it was packaged well and they fit my porch balcony rails perfectly I knew going in that they were resin but so are all the hanging potters and urban planters I have on my porch I’m OK with that the price was good too it was actually more accommodative soil wise than I originally thought great purchaseIt added extra privacy where I sit on my porch and also some foliage

Description states it’s distressed wood. It is not. It is plastic. Make sure you’re aware that it’s plastic and not distressed white. I kept it since it didn’t feel like returning it during Covid. I making the best of it. I think it still looks nice however it is plastic. At $30 each for plastic you have to make a decision

UPDATE: 1 year later and a move with a new deck and I still LOVE this planter. It actually fits on my vinyl deck railing this time (no need to screw into railing as I did previously.) Just love it.Love the way this railing planter looks. It was my own fault for not checking dimensions thoroughly prior to purchasing and it was a tad large for my railing but I had my husband screw them into railing for extra sturdiness. I have an old deck and item is lightweight enough that it doesn’t concern me being too heavy for railings.
