These are EXACTLY what I want for my sweet potato vine for the fence. They fit perfectly around the 4inch slats on my wooden fence.Had all three screwed in and put together in less than 5 minutes.There are drainage holes on the bottom so even when it rains and overwhelms whatever you have planted it will fully drain through some pretty large holes in the bottom.I cannot wait for after our first frost to put these on the other side of the fence and get some beautiful sweet potato vine trailing over the edge for some visual interest along the street-facing side of the fence.All of this said they are probably only good for a couple seasons because the rust will eventually get them if they are not covered.

There is a small amount of easy assembly required. You need to screw the handles onto the planter. The planters look great and have nice drainage holes, that are not overly big or too small for water to escape.The handles are curved and can hang nicely from multiple sources like fences, walls, railings or even other planters.

These are my new window boxes. I have six windows across the front of my home, three sets of two. One planter will be hung between each pair and planted with an assortment of spring and summer beauties. They are all metal...very sturdy, with pre-drilled drain holes for convenience. The cost was right in line with my budget and, because they are a neutral white, I am leaning toward painting them red to match the brick of my house. Very, VERY pleased with my purchase!

After enduring several weeks of cold, gloomy weather, the first signs of warm sunshine have prompted me to visit the nursery to pick out flowers and gather supplies for my landscaping project. Though it's early March and spring has yet to arrive, the warm, sunny weather has me eager to plant! I absolutely love these planters. They're sturdy, stylish, and versatile. Made from thick metal, they are resistant to dents, feature drainage holes, and come with hooked handles for easy hanging over fences or rails. You can attach the handles using the provided screws or leave them off if you prefer placing the planters on a table or the ground. I haven't yet decided whether to use these for flowers along my fence or to hang them on my raised garden bed for growing herbs... though I might just have to buy more. Either way, they'll look fantastic and be very practical. I've been looking for various planters to compare prices, and getting three of these for $20 or less is a fantastic deal.

The price and amount you get is great. The handles were a little awkward to screw on but manageable. I’ve hung them on my new cedar fence and the squirrels love stealing my seeds that I sow in them! XP
