Notice: This product was received at no charge as part of the Amazon Vine program but this is an unbiased review. This is a pair of cabinet jacks that stand 50 inches tall at the base, and they can increase to 7 feet when you pull them out to their full length. That’s before you extend the jack which goes another 30 inches. They’re made of heavy-duty steel. The base has four different length positions that are held in place with spring loaded pins. It’s easy to press the pins in to change the height, and they do a good job holding the base firmly in place. For added security, there is a threaded clamp at the top for double protection against slippage. The jack function is operated with handle lever to pump the jack up. I was able to lift over 50 pounds with little effort using the handle pump. At both ends of the jacks are 3 ½ inch non-slip pads. The top pad tilts if you’re holding something at an angle. The set includes a nylon bag for easy carrying. The pair of jacks come in handy in lots of different jobs. They’ll hold a cabinet in place so you can attach it to the wall. While there are dedicated drywall hoists for drywalling a ceiling, these jacks could be really handy hanging drywall on a small job. These are just the thing in many other situations when you need to hold something in place. All in all, these are sturdy and well made cabinet jacks that will be really helpful when you need a helping hand to hold something in place.

Great braces for holding work. These have bolt on feet with thick and grippy rubber the pads can rotate any direction. They poles come with instructions and warnings which are important especially when securing items over head. I use these alot do ceiling work. I have used similar poles to install wood flooring on the ceiling, install curved metal ceiling to RV also for installing hardboard particularly in higher locations. These are very useful for keeping panels of any sort from falling while you attach them with screws or while adhesives dry. These have a large range of length that can be used depending on your project and the weight of what you are securing. Very sturdy - these have a smaller footprint than some of my poles but a much thicker and more grippy rubber with tread! Thus thicker rubber and tread can make these hold better even on dusty and sandy surfaces where my smoother larger foot ones will slip while trying to set the pole. When working with these I am often working alone. I set these up to near full height of my project with just the last trigger setting left to go & lean them against my ladder so they can be placed and braced from the ladder as soon as items are placed. Honestly when doing large or small panels & peices in high spaces you can not have too many of these on hand particularly if your working alone. Its safe and necessary- Imo. I love having different types and features and find the best use for each. Of course I have my favorites. These are highly functional with ALL the features I love to see plus some added bonus features like the thick tread , bolted on feet, button locks in the thickest segment, bright colors that make them easy to see and a carry bag!! (which prevents them all getting tangled up and broken especially when you have a bunch or are transporting to worksite) These are definitely going to be among my favorite and first grabbed on future projects. I would order these again100% and can definitely recommend!

I bought these to help me install a 42" range hood. I needed to hold it near the existing vent ducting so I could line up the ducting, then raise it a little more to hook up the electrical connections, then raise it a bit more so I could wiggle the hood in place between my tile work, before raising it to it final height. The 4 screws almost put themselves in. I can't imagine how I would have done it on my own. Sturdy, well made and easy to use.

These are great when you just need a bit of extra weight support to install something, especially when working alone. I haven't used them to hold up a dust barrier but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be great for that. Very nice to be able to rest some weight on these posts.

I am using these as a 'temporary wall' measure with plastic sheeting. So far, loving these things. One thing I predict: the lower clamp will fail, almost surely. The plastic is soft, does not provide a ton of grip on the secondary shaft and relaxes a bit when stressed. This can be very easily corrected (when they fail) by replacing them with some stainless steel hose clamps, ideally the ones with a rubber cushion to prevent scoring / damaging the pipe.So far, no real complaints. These are going to be added to my on-the-road kit for sure, already proving their worth and keeping clients' homes cleaner.
