The XINQIAO Third Hand Tool is a remarkable new part of my home toolkit. Especially because i am such a busy mom and grandma - I can only imagine how it would be immensely helpful for a professional contractor as well. This thing is made of steel and is incredibly sturdy and strong. The package says it can support over 150 pounds and I would say it easily can do so from my experience! My husband and I have used it to help us stabilize our solid cherrywood cabinetry during installation and also provide support for us while working on our drywall after hurricane Milton drenched so much of our lower level in our home this past year. One of its most amazing features that really stood out to me is the incredible length it can adjust to. Would you believe it can extend from a mere 43.3 inches to a full 70.9 inches in length quite easily? This is amazing and allows it to adapt to being able to help with incredible ease for dozens of projects around the house, garage, and yard with incredible ease! What truly sets this stabilizer apart from any competition I have used in the last three years or so, is its user-friendly design! There is an ingenious hidden "twist-lock" mechanism that not only enhances and ensures the safety but additionally adds to the ease of use. This thoughtful touch to the innovation provides a great deal of peace of mind, because I know that whenever and wherever I am using it, I am 100% certain I can rely on it being stable and I don't need to worry in the least about careless or thoughtless and preventable accidents. This tool is built with forethought and quality to prevent needless harm and injury. I have great stability without undue concern. Additionally, the high-quality materials and construction are meant to last making it a smart investment for anyone passionate about DIY projects or home renovations.Users have found this tool to absolutely change their thought processing, enabling them to tackle tasks with greater confidence. Just last week I was finishing putting the last of the heavy tool organizer shelving up in the garage; the XINQIAO Third Hand Tool was invaluable in the process, and it would have been altogether impossible to complete it without an additional person at least to be there providing me an extra much needed hand to hold it in place while I was able to secure it properly. This additional help was invaluable at providing that extra hand needed to hold the cupboard in place while I was able to secure it.All in all, I have to say that in my experience, this "Third Hand Tool" has been an incredible, well-crafted, and reliable tool that has really simplified several tasks in my home making so many things easier to work with. With so many advantages I would say it is an excellent choice for anyone needing this kind of helping hand. It turned into the difference for me to either get some of my to-do list marked off or watch that list grow a little longer day by day. I highly recommend this tool and feel it is a fantastic investment for anyone who does DIY even once or twice a year.

Most things about this 3rd hand device I like. It is super handy to have around to hold certain things in place, particularly kitchen cabinets or anything heavy that sits on a small ledge against a wall. It's easy to rotate and extend, but requires two hands to use so you need to make sure you have it at or near the final length you will need.An improvement would be to have it spring loaded where it wants to extend. Then you could easily extend it to the length needed and lock it in place.I also wish it were 8 feet long so that it could help with ceiling drywall. The only complaint I have about this tool is that the foam handle slides/rotates so you can't safely twist it locked using the handle. If you squeeze hard enough, it can get enough grip to twist, but generally you need to grab the metal bar itself. That can be fixed by spraying some hairspray underneath and letting it dry.

I have a set of these in a smaller size and they are ideal for Cabinets. When I saw the listing for these I thought a longer version may come in handy. I didn’t read the description properly and thought they might be long enough to reach the ceiling for either drywall, or even to assist putting in a light fixture. The maximum length is about 71” so you can’t use it for jobs where you need to reach the ceiling. The build quality is quite good. The ends have nice rubber grips that flex so this shouldn’t slip and the feet tilt for uneven surfaces. Once tightened down it won’t collapse and holds 154 lbs When straight, 66 lbs on a 45 degree angle. It could be useful for a lot of things when you don’t have a helper, like shelving. Although the product description indicates the correct length the accompanying photos show people installing drywall on the ceiling which is a bit misleading, unless they offer different sizes than the ones that were sent out to Vine reviewers. The quality seems very good so I’ll still give it a 4 star but if you're looking for something do be your third hand touching the ceiling this won’t work.

Review for: "XINQIAO Third Hand Tool 3rd Hand Support System, Premium Steel Support Rod with Hidden Twist-Lock System,Hold up to 154 lbs for Cabinet Jack, Drywall Jack& Cargo Bars, 43.3 IN-70.9 in Long, 1 PC"Brand: XINQIAOFirst look: The Third Hand Tool came in a long box (10 cm x 7.2 cm x 107.2 cm) with the user manual. The listing says the pole is from 43.3" to 70.9" but I measured it to be 42" to 71 5/8" (107 cm to 182 cm), which is slightly shorter when closed and slightly longer when opened all the way. The feet are about 8.7 cm x 6.3 cm with grips.Testing & Opinion: Since this pole is less than 6 ft long, it does not reach the ceiling. There may be other sizes available that do though, so the listing may be generic to all of the sizes. The listing states this could be used as a cabinet jack, drywall jack, for crown mouldings, range hood, or ratcheting cargo bar support pole. It can be used to support up to 154 lbs vertically or 66 lbs at a 45° angle. Since it doesn't reach the ceiling, it cannot be used as a drywall ceiling jack or for crown mouldings. It could be used for the range hood if the oven wasn't in place. To use it as a cargo bar support pole, you would likely be wanting something that can support more than 154 lbs so this may or may not work, depending on your load. The bar needs two hands to loosen or tighten it, and you need to rotate it a lot more for smaller heights to get it to lock in place. When I was renovating my kitchen, it was a pain to try to hold the cabinet in place while screwing it to the wall. I would have loved this third hand for that job so I'm sure it will come in handy for the next renovation. I would suggest to order the correct size for the job or task you need it for.

I got the XINQIAO Third Hand Tool 3rd Hand Support System as a friend has asked me to help him drywall his cottage ceiling. I have a bad shoulder so overhead work is normally a challenge, but not with this 3rd hand. The device is well made. You have no fear that it is going to give out under load. It is easily adjustable to dial it in to the right height. This is particularly important when working on a surface like a cottage floor since nothing is truly level. The rubber padded ends make sure you're not leaving scratches anywhere.
