This lift came in so handy. It was easy to assemble and worked great to do the ceiling in my garage.

Assembly Instructions were lacking but thankfully it's pretty straightforward. Only used it for a day to lift these faux beams up but it did it without an issue. Guess I'll store it away until the next project.

This definitely does the job. I haven't taken it all the way to 16 ft but doing a 11-ft ceiling was no problem. Maybe it's a little bit wobbly feeling but if you crank it up slowly you can get things right in line. I'm happy with this especially for the price.

Came with a bad kink in the cable but still works. Instructions kind of suck but I'd say just look at how it's put together in the picture and you can figure it out. Cheap option to help put up drywall on the ceiling in my garage. I would go with something better if this is gonna be used in a commercial setting and not home use only.

Honestly, this drywall lift is a piece of crap. Worse lift I’ve had yet. If I could swear up a storm I would. I have been working on laying drywall ceilings at this house for the past few weeks. Needed something for simple 9-10 foot ceilings. The lift was working at first, besides the inner arm that holds the Sheetrock, not staying in and falling off plowing us in the foot. Then then all of a sudden just two days ago, we’re using the lift to raise the drywall to the ceiling. I set the brake at the desired height. I grab my drill from off the ground, and boom, the brake just stops working and this 8ft sheet of 5/8 just comes crashing down. On top of my head. Giant knot on the top of my head, I no longer have the box as I thought I got a good product. So now I’ve got to find a box, that’s big enough to fit all of these parts in, and send it back. Honestly, just save your money, go to Home Depot and get an actual drywall lift. This product is not worth the price that you pay, if you’re going to end up with hospital bills. Not even going to waste my time returning and blowing out my back trying to get this lift in my truck. Not going to waste anymore money, or gas finding a box for this thing. I’m just cutting my losses, and call it a day. Wife wants me to let the lawyer handle it. I’m just going to forewarn you all. DO NOT BUY THIS SCRAP METAL. Cheap, dangerous, and luckily my child wasn’t around! GOD BLESS!

Firstly, it works and is very well constructed for its purpose - not a iPhone in exacting fit, but exactly what is needed for this sort of tool. This is simple (heavy ish) to assemble, in all but one point. The cable that does the work has not clear way to securely hold in place. We ended up feeding through the hole as pics show, but then made a sort of too and fro between the spokes of the hand wheel, then clamped it there. Not exactly great.Last, if you’re reading this far, you need or want one. Buy it, and be prepared to work with the minor short coming of cable securing (good small C clamp).

I recently used this drywall lift tool for a home renovation project, and I couldn’t be more impressed by how much it simplified the job. Installing drywall on the ceiling or along the top of a wall used to be a two-person task, if not more. With this tool, I was able to position and hold large drywall sheets securely overhead without needing an extra set of hands. That made the entire process more efficient and saved both my back and my patience.Assembly was quick and intuitive, and the folding design is a game-changer for storage. When I didn’t need it, the tool folded up neatly so it wasn’t constantly underfoot or taking up valuable workspace. The construction felt sturdy and stable, giving me the confidence to work safely and effectively. Whether you’re a seasoned DIYer or tackling your first major drywall project, this tool is a smart investment.
