The wooden handle is thick, long and slightly carved to give a nice grip. The wood for the handle and the body of the brush is sanded smoothly and has a poly coating. The handle is angled onto the brush. I’d say thirty degrees. The wire teeth are set into a rubber base. Everything looks like it was very lovingly made for the comfort of the user.I used one of the small brushes to comb out some jute on a macrame wall hanging I made. It worked as expected. I’ll keep a small and large brush for my hobbies and my cat and then gift the other two to a friend that does crafts.

These are nice brushes but they are brushes for pets, not for the fiber arts. The teeth are very spread a part and while they could flick wool fine carding is not going to be viable for finer staples or projects. It might be useful on a drum, but the epc/epi is not small enough for hand carders. Just be advised this is not a real craft item and is being mistakenly marketed in the wrong section for the wrong purpose. It will work fine in some aspects of wool arts, but if you are needing a very fine set of carders this is not it.
