Five-pack of high density, 2" thick felting foam pad to put under your needle felting project. It will give you a nice, firm work surface to work that protects the felting needle tips and is long lasting.

It works well for needle felting. I’m glad I purchased it!

I buy these in multiple packs to use for my students that I teach needle felting to. The price is better than anywhere . They hold up longer than ones I've spent more money on. They ship quickly as well. I use them for my own needle felted creations as well .. I've tested many others but these are great. I like the fact they are larger without breaking the bank to give my students and myself a quality felting pad.

My granddaughter likes this pad. I had purchased two pads for her. A cloth covered one and this one. The cloth covered pad got a hole in it the first time she used it. She was disappointed with that pad and switched to this one. She loves it and has not had any problems with it.

I really like this foam for felting. It doesn’t seems to catch the wool fibers as much as some of the others, and also seems to hold up better. My only problem is that if I am working on something dark, I have to go back to the white ones or I can’t see the details. It’s also a very nice size to work on.

I bought the felting pad and it's just like any other spongey foam. I've used it about eight times now, and there hasn't been any wear and tear yet. What I found to be a little bit disappointing was that wool would get caught in the foam and it would catch on to the new project I am working on. However, this is my first time using foam instead of the bristled mat, so it might just be something that all foam mats have in common. I would use one side for felting wool that are darker colored, and use the other side for lighter colored wool. It's nothing to complain too much about though--you can just clean out the wool. I am satisfied with this product and would recommend it to other buyers :)

loved the pad it was exactly what I needed. I was making a custom case inside a vaultz cd case to hold little glass liquid bottles and cut out the holes for the bottles to rest in inside the case.the only drawback I have hd is the ENDLESS email and ads amazon has sent me suggesting yarn, knitting needles, felting needles, felting needle mats, wistyria wool, and so on..I don't knit.. I don't mess with yarn.. don't have needles.. really really wish there was a way I could turn off their suggestions based on my purchases just for the simple fact that yeah this may have been a needle workers item but doesn't mean a needle worker is who bought it or what its used for..I sliced it in half using a razor.. made it thin enough to sit in each side of the case. sat a bottle on the pad. used a razor knife pen to trace around bottle then cut out part. cut pad down to size to fit in case and ended with a customized hard case for ecig parts, batteries, and bottles..The nice thing about Vaultz cases is they lock, keeps your nicotine out of kids hands.

I know you can just use a kitchen sponge for felting, but this thing is great. It's high quality and it is absolutely enormous. I call mine THE BEAST. It's great for when I'm traveling on the bus because it gives me a larger workspace than the smaller foam pads, but it's still feels about the same weight as the smaller ones, so it's not a huge hassle to take with me. It's also great if you want to felt a large area, such as if you're felting a design into a knitted sweater. Overall, I really like this foam pad, and I'd definitely recommend it if you do a lot of large-area felting or simply want a nice workspace on which to felt.

I was hoping for this thing to last for at LEAST a month till wear-and-tear were visible, but after just a couple of days of usage it's already showing permanent indents and holes. it's a nice size, and good for the price...not for the constant heavy-handed felter, i think though.
