ok i wasn't expecting too much ,as a ladder it does work ,it's a little wobbly climbing up it but did the job,the brackets could certainly be tighter to help with that,there isn't any lock washers so you know the nut's will loosen and fall off.I took it for a spin and the thing was ratting around, the strap pictured is not the one i received "I received 2 small straps " even if i had the one larger strap I'm sure it would still bounce around since the hinge part had plenty of play in it .....I'm not sure if there all like this "hopefully not" I'm going to try to figure out how to secure it where it doesn't bounce around .......If i can make it work maybe i'll update a few star's .........hopefully this is helpful to anyone taking the time to read this :)

Installed on a 2012 Dodge Ram 4x4. Installation was straightforward and easy. The ladder folds up nicely onto the back side of the tailgate and the straps hold it down. I was initially concerned that the height of the truck might be a problem, but no problem whatsoever for the ladder. Easy to use and makes it every easy to now get into the bed of the truck. Very happy with purchase!

This is a truck tailgate folding ladder. The ladder is constructed from high quality and heavy duty steel components that have a weather and corrosion resistant black paint coating. The ladder telescopes from 34" up to 42" to fit various tailgate heights. The three step ladder has rubber tipped feet to avoid ground slippage. The ladder kit comes with installation hardware and instructions. You will need a drill and nut wrench to complete the install. The ladder can be configured for the left or right side of tailgate. When not in use, the ladder folds up against the tailgate for out of the way storage.Would recommend this to anyone.
