I have the Extended stability leg on another ladder and it works great. Just finished placing another Extended leg on another ladder for uneven roof work.

I had a problem with my 12 ft. attic ladder that is in the garage because it was too short to reach the floor. Whenever anyone occasionally had to access the attic to service the air-conditioner, they put lumber under the ladder to stabilize it. I knew this was dangerous, so set about finding a solution.A handyman came out to look at it, and after debating about different solutions we decided these "Xtenda-Leg® Ladder Levelers with Rubber Feet" would work. My attic ladder is wooden, but he attached the leveler easily by just drilling holes for the bolts. He had to use longer bolts because of the thickness of the wood, and these levelers are designed for metal ladders. The rubber boots prevent it from slipping on the concrete garage floor. Since their length is adjustable, he was able to leave them on the ladder and close the door when returning it to the attic opening.I was pleased that these levelers were long enough to be used in my situation, they are heavyweight metal that will not collapse under weight, and meet OSHA safety standards. I will no longer be concerned that someone might get seriously injured from the ladder slipping.

This has been the best safety upgrade for my window cleaning company. The adjustable legs make it so much easier to position the ladder securely, even on uneven surfaces. It’s a solid, well-made product that’s all about safety and convenience.Whether you’re using a ladder for work or around the house, this is a must-have. Great product all around.

I’ve used many pair over the years, these are the best ones. Drill a hole in each foot and then you can screw the feet down to decks or a roof or if on icy ground you can run 3” roofing screws into the ice and you’re ladder won’t kick out.

I have a very sloped yard and this works great. Much safer than pieces of lumber. Definitely worth the investment . Easy to use and install

These are awesome! They were easy to install, they're sturdy, they're WAY more secure than a stack of whatever you're using to level your ladder, they're always _exactly_ the height they need to be (unlike designs that have a stepped mechanism), and they are super easy to use!And the big round feet are way better on uneven ground than the original feet.I was concerned about the added weight, but that turned out to be a plus too -- on my 20' extension ladder the added weight at the bottom actually makes it easier to get the ladder from horizontal to vertical (I'm 5'8" and with a ladder this long you can get to the point where you're walking towards the bottom, pushing the top up -- but with the top getting nearly as long as the bottom before you're past 45 degrees the whole thing wants to capsize... ).Wish I'd discovered these years ago!

My 3.75 year old son helped me install these. He is great with wrenching. He loved the heft of the levelers, very well made. My only gripes are, they do not automatically pop up or down. Sometimes they will fall down but with a jiggle or pushing the tab just right. This makes it hard to use when you only have one hand free to hold the ladder level. Second gripe, no template for the holes makes install hard. They are hard to center along the ladder beam due to some aluminum ladder brands having a raised fuller type groove. It is also hard to center with the ladder step protruding through the side of the beam. We did figure out a trick to make install easier. Set the bracket, drill one hole. Bolt the bracket down on that hole only. Drill your other three holes after getting the bracket set evenly. Remove bolt and bracket, loosely install all four bolts with the required washers as spacers and drop the bracket with bolts and washers all together right into the holes. This avoids the finagling of trying to get washers into the small space when one bolt is holding the bracket down.Third gripe, the bolts do not have grade markings on the heads. This probably means they are weak so go easy. I tightened them with my 3/8 impact wrench but only until the washers were snug and did not move. I will go back with my wrench and check them.Fourth gripe, they are not removable like the other brand. This did not matter to me but it might to some.I was able to use the levelers approx. 5 times the other day sanding and painting my house siding. I was about 14 feet up on about 20* incline and I felt solid. I really felt like it is a solid product that helps me do my work without fear of falling.
