These has been an absolute life saver for us. When you can't get down low enough and have the strength of your arms when standing, great for that. When you need a second set of hands but no one is around to help, These cover it. Easy to use. Already assembled and give you some Glover for the sensitive hands.

I like these in basic concept. I have a lot of furniture to move around in connection with a flooring project, so I bought 8 dollies. They came with lever type lifters that I hated. The levers couldn't lift high enough to get the dollies under furniture. Small stackable plastic platforms were provided to go beneath the levers, but they were unstable and I was afraid that the rotating levers would damage my fine wooden furniture.So, I ordered these, and they were a great improvement over the levers, but I decided that having four of them would be helpful, and I took a close look at competing furniture jacks on Amazon. Lots of companies make them. They're all similar in concept, but some are made with sturdier materials than others.Essentially, two heights and capacities are available: ~15-16" tall models that are usually restricted to ~220 lbs each (like these), and ~12" tall models that are claimed to be able to lift about 440 lbs each. (Those heights are just the height of the tool ‒ not how far they can lift.)Nowhere does this offering say how high these will lift things. A microscopic manual / spec sheet indicates that the maximum lifting height is 9" (23 cm), and says these jacks can lift a maximum of 200 lbs each. I have scanned the manual at 600 dpi and have uploaded the pages.Most of the ~220 lb models are less expensive than these. One similar brand costs only $27 a set. As you would expect, those that are rated to lift ~440 lbs each generally cost more than the ones with half that capacity.I wound up purchasing on Amazon a set of 440 lb 12" tall ones for only $31. They lack rubber pads, but I can glue on some rubber. I'd rather they were taller, but if I need greater height I would usually be able to put a board under the base.One thing I especially like about the others I bought is the ability to release or lower the jack a little at a time.The release mechanism of these Conprac brand lifters (like most others) requires a lot of finger pressure on a small metal plate that, if it is pressed hard enough, causes a sudden complete drop of the load. It seems potentially dangerous and might cause tall furniture to suddenly topple. Get your hands clear of the tool instantly and be prepared to steady the furniture.

The furniture jacks worked perfectly. We used them to lift the chest of drawers and the vanity in the bedroom without having to unpack them. They worked flawlessly. We also lifted the credenza under our big screen TV. Once again, the Jack's worked great. We are very satisfied with our purchase. The jacks were good quality and very easy to operate.

I bought furniture jack to make my job easier, it's very simple to use, I use it to lift my bed for cleaning with ease, I even used it to install my dishwasher, I found it to be so much more than that, there are so many more places it can be used on, I love the workmanship, there is not a single piece of plastic anywhere on the whole body, it's very heavy duty, and it feels very good to the touch. The central lifting column is good quality so I'm sure it can take the weight very good point is that there is a pair of removable plastic upholstery pads which go a long way to protecting my floors from scratches, I think they are great value for money!
