This is a thick, heavy, well constructed lifting accessory specifically made for lifting storage containers enough to level them. These make such levelling safer and faster than trying to get a jack under the frame. When I saw what a colleague was doing to try to level his container without these I told him to stop before he broke something or hurt himself. I got these to loan to him and to have for myself when I get a container or two. Having two or three, with one corner as the designated low point on firm supportive base to start, makes the process even faster and safer yet.Even if your container is now level you'll still need these to maintain level as frost and winter heave the ground in the years to come.

It’s a pretty basic item, no moving parts. Overall I don’t see any manufacturing defects and it seems to be well made. I have no doubt it will lift a shipping container as advertised. Once I have a chance to use it, I’ll update my review.

I was happy with the overall quality of the product but unfortunately it didn't fit my container. The shank was not long enough to turn in upright position. Do some research because they not a 1 size fits all or mine was just defective.

The shaft that attaches the lug to the plate was not long enough to fit and twist in the hole on the container. I needed at least 13/16" (preferably 7/8" or 15/16" for some room) and these only had a 11/16" shaft, about an 1/8" short. this is a used container from hong kong. may fit other containers but certainly isn't universal and it is hard to find these with all the measurements.

Well built and simple design, BUT it wouldnt lock into my TRITON brand connexes. The lug needed to be another 1/4 or preferably 3/8" longer to be able to twist up and lock onto the lift position. The listing measurements DOES NOT cover the distance between the main vertical frame to the insode of the oval shaped lug. This is a critical measurement as it appears whatever brand connex they used to measure for fabrication is not universal to all brands. Thay being said, the one i received was welded well and appeared to be made using appropriately thick steel. I'd assume if it fits, it Should lift ANY weight of connex with ease. If your jack can handle the weight.Incredibly strong bracketalloed me to finally getsome cribbing umder my connex amd let it breathe so the condensation wouldnt rust out the bottom amd let moisture through the wooden floor boards. Simple design has you lay it on its side to insert the oval dog into the keyhole at the corner then tip it upright to put the jack under and get to work lifting. My 30 ton hudraulic jack had no issues lifting the loaded connex where my old hi-lift jack couldnt get it to budge. I could never figure out how to get under the connex to lift it up until i saw this bracket. Wish I'd seen it sooner with my 3 connexes sitting in the dirt for several years now.As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I take my role and the integrity of my reviews very seriously. My container isn't empty and I'm doing this without help so the last thing I'd want is for this to fail catastrophically while it's holding max weight. So I tried to break this lug. I didn't beat it with a sledgehammer or anything crazy (it's all relative) but I threw it against the ground about 5 times. Made sure to hit any face / angle / weld / weak point, just to make sure.No sweat. I don't even think it chipped the paint, just gave it a few scuffed areas. Now I can't say I put it through its paces completely, but start lifting and let it sit there under pressure for a good few minutes (it was after dark and I'm waiting for daylight to do the actual work under my container). But it had no issues under load, even after being beaten pretty roundly in my driveway. The lip around where the jack top sits is a welcome detail, as helps keep your jack from falling over or shifting crazily if it turns out your ground starts shifting. And it will, absolutely, so a concrete block or steel plate would be recommended. (I used the flat pavers that are like cinder blocks without the holes and broke the first so double up!)That's about it. It's a good solid lug that's simple to use and will save you a lot of hassle in the long run. If any issues arise, I'll update here, as safety around these containers are not to be taken lightly.Watch your fingers, and have fun building those bunkers, kids! heheh
