Great tool for anyone working alone for those applications where you need three hands. Have used them so far to install an exterior shed door, hold tongue & groove boards while nailing them in place, picket fence rails and to level a stove. Great buy

Great for lifting furniture to put sliders under for moving. Also good for aligning doors and cabinets when installing. I also use to level appliances. Well made and worth ten times their price.

I am replacing my deck boards. When I pulled all my boards up I saw that I had a couple of joists that were bowed. I purchase these jacks to help lift the two joists up. They worked great but be sure to use both of them on each joist. I used only one at first and it lifted it but then the screws on the jack gave out. So I tried it with both and it did the job just great.

I've been seeing ads for something like these little hand-operated jacks for years and they piqued my interest. I would have some home project going on where they'd be useful but I never ordered until two days ago.I ordered these particular jacks on Sunday and they were delivered Monday morning. On Tuesday my wife and I used a pair of them to lift a heavy hide-a-bed sofa so we could put sliders under the feet. Worked great! We lifted one side, installed the sliders, then did the other side. The alternative would have been me busting my back trying to lift this sofa one leg at a time while my daring wife shoved a slider underneath. Using these jacks was not only easier but a lot safer!Now I'm looking around the house to see what else I can lift. The kitchen range to adjust the feet and level it out? Same with the clothes dryer?I can see that you're not going to lift a car with these or anything TOO heavy, but for use around the house, I think they'll be well worth the modest cost.

I purchased these lifts thinking they would be perfect for lifting a fridge, stove, washer dryer, furniture etc. My first need was when my garage door cable came of on one side. These little lifts allow me to level the door and restring the cable. Paid for itself on this one job alone. Comes in a nice handy case to keep the organized and together. A great purchase

Used once to lift a smoker / grill to enable me to change the casters. In the process of lifting it, one of the lift arms bent. The grill is well below lifting capacity of one jack (I used both to ensure I did not strain the jacks). Not worth a but. Unfortunately past the 30 day return window.

Need a hand and don't want to ask for help? If so, these work great. I used them to hold a replacement bottom row of siding level - perfect. Raised my desk to add some new feet - perfect. Being mindful under load it of course drops the full load unlike how a car jack would. Holding up random objects in my house to impress my family- perfect. Having the sturdy case is a nice bonus. Outside of wanting additional lifting height, I would have no reason for a secondary purchase.

I first purchased these with the ID and mine that I would use them to help me lift up some furniture items to slide some pads underneath. I have use these for so many things since I purchased them. The other day I needed to move our large four poster bed. The dang thing weighs about 300 pounds. I was able to lift it under each post and slide in a large slider. Now I can move the bed all over the room. This is especially handy for cleaning under the bed. I also used it to move my office desk. It is a massive executive mahogany behemoth. With these I was able to lift it, fit the sliders underneath, and then move it wherever I wanted. I can’t see enough good things about these. They’re a fraction of the cost of some of the others like them. For example, Home Depot has a DeWalt that does the same thing For about 150 bucks just for one. The capacity on these goes up to 440 pounds the Dewalt hit 300. You can’t go wrong with these things.

Have used these for a limited number of tasks with very good results.However none of the tasks to date have involved heavy lifting so I cannot speak to that aspect.They have however proven useful in holding sewer pipe connections steady as other components were added. I had not considered this use when I purchased the item, but faced with a problem and having just received this item I decided to try and it worked much better than past solutions to similar problems.I look forward to finding other uses in the future.

Bottom line, these lift arms meet the all specs defined by the seller. You can nudge the lift up or down or drop the lifted load all in one go. All metal, well made, heavy duty. Great for installation jobs where you can nudge up or down to precisely level your work without strain. I had the other lift versions but did not like the inability to lower the load incrementally. These units allow one to nudge up or down. Critical in installation work.Safety First: when lifting any load, always safety block that load to protect yourself. Cut 2 2x4 wood studs, 5 3/4” long. This will give you blocking heights of 1 1/2”, 3”, 3 1/2”, 5”, 5 3/4” plus you can put the lift arm foot on the 2x4 if you need added height in offset cabinets.When lifting heavy units approaching load limits of one, use two arms. Easy. I have heavy cabinets with audiophile equipment. Casters on cabinets do not roll easily on carpet. So, I lift each side with these, slip a laminate flooring board under casters each side. Cabinet rolls out easily for cleaning behind or making changes to wiring connections/additions without having to pull components from front.Another great use is for rolling out fridges and other appliances. The wheels on these appliances can damage a vinyl floor by leaving depressions where the wheels contact floor. So, I lift the front of fridge and slide two laminate flooring boards under the front wheels to the back wheels. Then pull fridge forward for cleaning the back air intake vents of dust. Thus is done at least once a year to provide unimpeded cooling air to compressor and condenser. Clogged vents back there are the #1 cause of too warm refrigerators. This alone, for me is worth the cost to ease this chore for me.I read all reviews. Some are good, some are very bad. Some show clear understanding of product, some not. Expectations must be within the design parameters specified for product. Price point is also an important consideration. Function, fit, form and execution are the important obligations. The case is a nice bonus. Protect, respect for your tools is important. I ordered this set. Put it through its paces. Noted its construction carefully. Keep it lubed lightly and clean. I liked it so much, I ordered another kit. It’s great value in my opinion.
