After 5 months of baking with this, it still works very well. Worth the investment.

This scale was ideal for analytical work that I did in my office/lab..Until it fell from my golf cart and by the time I noticed and turned around to pick it up, someone picked it up after stopping his car and took it away!!

I originally ordered this to use in the kitchen but decided its much better suited for making bath bombs and various beauty items that require precision measurement. I was also happy to find it came with an adapter and was not just powered by a 9v battery as i expected. The scale is large , but that makes the LED easier to read. It does require some simple assembly before use , but includes a calibration weight to let you know you did it correctly. This is a very nice scale , and has so many features that im still discovering. Very well made , and high quality. I look forward to all the uses i find for this scale.

I recently had the pleasure of testing out the Ciziyiheng Lab Scale, a 300g scale with a 0.01g resolution for precision weighing. When it arrived, I was surprised by its size, which was larger than I expected, but I was pleased to find that it came pre-calibrated and included a draft shield, AC/DC power adapter, and a 200g calibration weight. The scale can be powered either by a 9V battery or the included adapter, and it has an automatic auto power-off function to conserve energy. While the draft shield was a bit of a hassle to add and remove, I can see how it would be useful for measuring fine powders in drafty environments. For my purposes, though, I found it more trouble than it was worth and ended up packing it away after only an hour of use.The stainless steel weighing pan measures ~125mm in diameter and includes a bull's-eye level vial and adjustable feet. The keypad is protected by a splash-proof membrane and has five function keys. The large, high-contrast LCD display with backlighting made it easy to read even in low-light conditions. One of the standard features of this scale is its Zero function, which allows you to place a container on the pan and then zero the display. When you add content to the container, the displayed value will show only the weight of the contents. Plus or minus weighing is also available for quality control applications. The counting function is also impressive, allowing you to count individual items like coins (of same denomination) or pills quickly and easily. It supports a total of 10 different measurement methods, including grams, kilograms, carats, ounces, pounds, pennyweight, percentage, tolerance, and pieces count. The only one that left me scratching my head was "mm", which I assume is probably used to calculate length when the weight per mm is known (?) or vice versa.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by how well this scale performed, especially given its affordable price point. It has all the basic features you need for precision weighing, including calibration and a choice of units. While it took a bit of care to level out the four feet on the bottom without introducing any wobble, I found that the response was linear out to the maximum displayed weight. The output seemed to have a shorter averaging time than I'm used to, but that's just nitpicking - the noise is all in the last digit anyway! In conclusion, if you're looking for an affordable yet reliable lab scale for precision weighing, the Ciziyiheng Lab Scale is definitely worth considering if you're in need of precision weighing without breaking the bank.---Product: Ciziyiheng Lab Scale Balance Electronic Scales 300g * 0.01g High Precision Laboratory Digital Analytical Balance Gram Scale 0.01g Accuracy Scientific Scales Jewelry Scales Digital Kitchen ScalesASIN: B0C1Z6W7V5

This scale is great. It works well, they include a calibration weight, and the controls are easy to use. My only complaint was that there are no assembly instructions (though it does include use instructions). The white rectangle goes on the spindle (open side up), then the metal plate goes on. The plastic cover consists of 4 sides and a top. The 4 sides slide onto one another along grooves and then snap into place --- but this has to be done just right since each is asymmetric. The cover (as far as I can tell) remains loose. The entire transparent assembly must be removed for use or it will affect the weight. It shouldn't, but it does. I wish that the top snapped into place as well (since the whole 5 sides must be removed anyway) --- but it doesn't. Other than this, quite a good unit. Note that it has an internal rechargeable battery but uses a wall-wart (included) rather than a USB cable.

Well, this balance is not a Mettler-Toledo or a Sartorius, but is not costing $10k neither. To me is more than enough, I mainly use it to weight electronic components, solder paste, gunpowder and projectiles,....The accuracy is good, not great, but enough for what I need. The sensitivity is better, it responds very well to weight modifications. It can be powered by a 9V battery, or by an AC/DC power adaptor. The assembly is pretty straight-forward: find a flat surface, add the battery, the dish, the draft shield, do the 200g calibration and that's all.The draft shield (breeze break) is the worst of the balance, but still ok to me.ATTENTION: The manual has a typo, the piece counting function, in the second paragraph, where it says press CAL, you have to press TARE/ZERO instead.I like the balance, it allows me to do piece counting, has many unit options and the accuracy is not great but enough for me.

The instrument is extremely accurate and sensitive, but unfortunately, the wind shield is essential because of how sensitive it is. It's a shame that the shield is flimsy and finicky, considering how important it is. The roof frequently collapses, and the walls occasionally fall, which could be improved with a better lip on the base to enhance its durability. It's so bad that I have switched to using a smoke gun cloche to cover it.The scales are excellent by themselves, but occasionally, when switching measurement settings, they do error out. It's hard to recommend a $70 scale that is so annoying to use because of the wind shield.
