This review is for the LACHOI Analytical Balance. This is a nice scale to have. It features a built-in adjustable leveling foot to ensure stable measurement and high precision. It can weigh in up to 19 units, including g, kg, lb, ct, and many more. The scale is sturdy, well-built, and feels solid. The pan is made of stainless steel and is large enough to weigh bigger items. My only issue with this scale is that it doesn’t have a memory function to recall the last unit used, so you have to cycle through all 19 units to select your desired one. Other than that, it’s easy to use and consistently accurate.

I'm using this to measure out sets of the little screws used in computer manufacturing. It's working great for that with good precision. The documentation isn't great though. Took a bit of experimenting to figure out some of the functionality.

I use to make skin care products, so I need the .01 grams in my formulas. I bought two calibrations weight to set the scale. It keeps it's calibration well after many tares. Seems sturdy and well built. The problem with my last two digital scales is that if the display gets wet, they stop working. I hope this one holds up. Four stars because it should have come with a calibration weight.

I bought this for a kitchen scale. The LACHOI Lab Scale is a very high quality scale. I was able to adjust it to ounces instead of grams for using in the kitchen. The LACHOI Lab Scale has a very high tech look. I like that the stainless steel scale platform is removable so it can be easily cleaned without risking water on the scale. The rare feature is nice so I can remove the weight of the plate or paper when weighing food. The LACHOI Lab Scale is a great addition to the kitchen. I would highly recommend these LACHOI Lab Scale.

This scale is more complex than what I need. Provides accurate measurements. Great for lab use or kitchen use.

The model I received is very functional, despite a lot of head-scratching features.Foremost, what it's offering, 5kg capacity and 0.01g accuracy (0.02g minimum according to the label) is a wonderfully useful range. I compared some masses against another scale I have that is 0.01g accuracy (alas, only 0.3kg capacity so I couldn't to any great mass comparisons at 0.01g) and as expected the results were in agreement or differing by 0.01g. Though this device does not come with a calibration weight and I don't have any large weights for testing, I had some 50g calibration weights that came with other scales and this scale agreed on 50.00g and 100.00g. I also tested a large object against a 1g accuracy scale, 2831g on the 1g, 2830.58g on this unit, so I'm confident that it's not wildly out. What's a head scratcher is some of the design choices. There are two plastic tabs each on the right hand and rear side, which I presume are knock outs for a different internal designs. The bottom has a large plastic door that is secured by two screws and itself; I couldn't pry it open without risking damage to the chassis, so I didn't go exploring by opening it up further, but I wonder if there is an unused battery compartment in there. I wonder because there is a battery indicator on the screen, despite this unit only offering AC adapter power. When plugged in but turned "off" the battery indicator shows full charge, but the device does not function without the external power. There is also a switch on the bottom with a locked/unlocked icon. It feels like an electrical switch, and seems to have no effect on scale behavior in either position. The great weakness of this scale is in documentation. I received a manual in English and one in Japanese. They covered the technical parts of the scale but usage was poorly described. Some notes are contradictory: The item description says "Precision scale is calibrated and tested before shipment" but the manual says to calibrate after moving the balance, so what good is calibrating it before shipping it? That's sure to be moving it. Nonetheless, I found no indications of lost calibration so I'm unconcerned at this time.Units are not documented at all and there are a lot of them:g/kg/gsm, gram. kg is 1000g, gsm is 0.01 gram. (Why do scales bother with units that are just moved decimal points? The ease of moving the decimal yourself is supposedly why Metric is so grand.)ct, metric carat, 0.20gT/TAR/TMR, British tola, ~11⅔g. (A Troy-derived unit, took a bit of research to find. It's a modernization of an ancient Vedic measure.) TAR mode is units, 16ths, then 6ths. TMR is units, 12ths, 8ths.dr, avoirdupois dram, ~1.772gPKT, I couldn't find this unit but it's about 12.15g and subdivides at 12ths, then 8ths. The ratti (also from India like tola) has one definition at 0.1215g, but that's off by a factor of 100. I found a satamana unit that's 100 ratti, but I didn't see it subdivided this way.GN, grain, 0.0648gtlJ/tlT/tlH, 37.8g, 37.5g, and 37.43g respectively. All are forms of tael, varying depending on location and use on silver versus gold.mo, 0.2667g. I failed to discover what this unit is.dwt, pennyweight, 1.55goz/lb, USA ounce and pound, 28.35g and 453.72g.ozt, Troy ounce, 31.1g.%, I think the way that this works is when you cycle modes (18, did I count right?) and reach the end, this will set whatever mass is on the scale to be 100.00%, and then the display is based on that proportion as you may change what's on the pan.Count mode:Use was not described in the manual.Set the mass standard on the pan.COU to activate the mode. 10 appears.TARE repeatedly to set the count. 10, 20, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 500.COU again to set.I'm unwilling to dock a star for the inadequate manual since education and experimentation overcomes that and likely any of these units that one doesn't know is one that one won't ever need to use, and the operation is as expected.Beneath the metal pan I found a layer of protective plastic. I took a risk and removed it because I couldn't resist finding out how much it weighed. 1.44 grams.

Does what it says on the tin, I suppose. It's a 0.01g 2kg balance scale. It's pretty accurate, hits all of my calibration weight values correctly within 0.02g at the worst. It agrees with my other scales. The only complaint I really have is that the bed is inherently unlevel on mine, so leveling it with the feet is nearly impossible. The included power cable is a bit too short for my needs. Also the display shows a battery icon when plugged in that is charging. No doubt there is a version with an internal battery, but it is just weird to show on a corded unit. False hopes haha. The display updates very quickly. The buttons though... kinda suck. They're hard to press. Some of them are so hard to press you can tilt the scale up off of the table if you're not careful. Generally this isn't an issue UNLESS you need to zero(tare) something. It can be done just fine, but you need to be aware of it while doing it. Lastly, it's nice to have all these various measuring modes, but I don't think it has last mode memory, and the buttons being so annoying means it's a pain to go through them.It also has a counting feature which I'm sure will be useful for some. I have not used it and have no need for it.All in all? Very very nice scale with a large input range and very good resolution. Recommend easily.
