great scale but not what i was looking for. worked as told and felt like a reliable scale. only reason i retuned it was because it was a little too big for me. I like the pocket scales better.

The product met all my expectations and needs for my experiment It is quite precise and easy to use. It’s exactly what I needed for precision reloading. Calibrates very easily.

It arrived in a box with a 200g weight bouncing around inside. The screen was scratched and dented. I have a very precise weight set and the scale would give me a different weight every time I zeroed it. It is advertised as being accurate to .001g, it wasn't accurate at .03g. That is a big difference!!!! There was no manual. Looked like it had been returned before and just thrown in a box for the next person (me) to buy it. Horrible!!!!!!Edit- The item I received was a return to Amazon, not to this company. The company reached out to me and made it right. The scale I received from them was packaged perfectly and there was no damage. I checked it with my precision weight set and against my other scale, which cost 4x the price, it was right on the money. This company did an excellent job at going beyond expectations to make it right!!! This is the reason I have increased my rating to 5 stars.

I know it says 0.001 and is able to display that digit. However it’s only a software smoothed moving advantage of a 0.01 resolution scale

So far the scale is working great. I use them for reloading. I will say they are very accurate they might be a little to sensitive for some. I contacted the company and had a fix for the over sensitive scale. The next day. Great customer service and so far a great product. Build quality is very good

An excellent addition to the lab, but mine did not include the charger cable, and there's no mention of the DC voltage for the normally provided one. Could anyone let me know ow what voltage the barrel-jack power cable is on the one they received?

I ordered this precision balance for my daughter, who is currently studying high school chemistry and has a proclivity for data analysis. While this scale is much more precise than she currently requires, it will be increasingly valuable to her as she continues her studies. This has several features that we are already appreciating. First, the accuracy is astounding. With a sensitivity within ten thousandths of a gram, this scale can easily measure a single grain of salt or any of the other solids she uses in her experiments. Second, it can be programmed to display seventeen different units, so we can measure just about anything including evaporation, mass, etc. Third, the RS232 interface will allow us to plot data electronically. We haven't yet used this feature, but will likely in the future. The rechargeable battery is a huge plus. We can use this scale anywhere, including outdoors. Finally, for a precision instrument, this is very easy to calibrate with the push of a button. It comes with a 200 gram weight for calibration purposes. There are several downsides to this scale such as the requirement to power it on and allow it to sit for fifteen to thirty minutes prior to use. Also, a RS232 cable isn't included, but they are easy to obtain. Otherwise, this is a great instrument.

I ordered this because I wanted the most precise scale possible for measuring ingredients and gaining precise weights for certain non-food objects. The precision of this scale is undoubtedly mind-blowing, and I will never need it for my use. However, this kind of a scale (which I didn't consider before ordering) is not intended to be set up and taken down on a whim. It's meant to be set on a table, installed, plugged in and available when needed. The instructions mention that it should be "warmed up" for around 15-30 minutes before using. For my uses, I don't require four decimal places of accuracy. Turning it on for a quick measurement will suffice; but understand what level of commitment you are looking for before purchasing this type of a scale and you'll be better off.The scale is absolutely beautiful, and it's able to run up to 36 hours on battery. That's pretty impressive, considering most of my measurements will take about 30 seconds to acquire. There is a power adapter included for use cases requiring constant power ON.Also, I don't plan to output my measurements but it's nice to know that the option is available via RS232.Overall, I am stunned by the quality and accuracy. Just be sure to research prior to committing to something of this caliber.
