СALIBRATION
Each of our units comes pre-calibrated and has undergone thorough, multiple key-point inspections from the factory. The calibration function is also externally accessible to the user.
To calibrate the scale:
1. Long press MODE button until LCD display show CAL and the preset calibration weight ‘200g’.
2. Place 200 g standard weight on the pan.
3. Display will show PASS indicating the scale has been calibrated successfully.
If loading weight is not stable or you abort calibration, the scale will show ‘Err’ and automatically turns off.

When I 1st pulled this out of the box, I thought it felt cheap. cheap, light hollow plastic feel. This is deceiving. While it may feel cheap, the scale is very accurate, easy to use, easy to read and works well. I use it for my mail when shipping small packages. I like it can use both AC and CD power and that it comes with power block and not just the usb cable (which it also includes), batteries not included. his scale also has a level bubble which is also a nice touch. I am happy with this order.

This is a bit smaller and more compact than I expected from the listing photos. It's a bit bigger than my kitchen scales, but not by much. Unlike my kitchen scales that are 1 gram resolution and 3-10KG range, this is only 600gram range, but it is 1/100th gram resolution, which is helpful for part counting and for weighing arrows and arrow points accurately.Leveling feet are included but not installed. I was pleasantly surprised that you can install 3 just three of them in tripod fashion, which makes for quicker and easier leveling. It also hase a built in bubble level.This can use batteries or a wall plug. Weirdly, it uses a USB charger as a power supply but has a barrel connector on the scale instead of a USB socket. It really ought to have a USB connector on the scale for better compatibility. And I wish I had the 1000 gram version so I wouldn't have to worry about overloading this as much. But overal, I like the size.

I got this digital centigram scale as a possible future gift. The price point was amazing but is it total trash or is it sturdy and accurate and precise? It does not come with its own calibration weight but I had a set of known weights/low-level calibration set (Amazon). I put it on battery power (2X AA batteries) because the provided power cord would get in the way since I'm not putting it on a desktop somewhere as a permanent location. Now this cord connection is powered by a provided plug-in 120 V AC to 5 V DC converter. This converter has a female USB output into which is plugged a male USB connection which goes to a 5.5 mm yellow tip circular pin which plugs into the balance. This 5.5 mm yellow tipped round pin is not as common a connectors as if used to be so it is important not to lose this connector if at some point in the future you want to use wall power.The weighing pan does not come with any arresting gear or system; an interesting design. Even during shipping when you would expect it would be bounced around there is no damage to it. I'm storing it in the box it came in which is not foam padded.So I put it on a heavy wooden stool on my level tile over concrete slab floor and immediately it zeroed. So I tested it with various weights: 100 g, 50 g, 20 g, 10 g, 5 g, 2 g, and 1 g. The way this balance behaved it seemed it would hover around the correct value and then suddenly lock onto it as if it was realizing that it was being tested with an exact weight. It looked like it was doing this also with any combination of calibration weights that was exact to a whole gram. So I decided to mess with it by putting multiple exact weights in a Ziploc baggie so now it's not an exact gram weight because of the weight of the baggie. With this testing system it gave very good accuracy but precision/repeatability was only within plus or minus 0.01 gram with repeated testing of the same exact sample.In conclusion seems to be working well: accurate, good repeatability/precision. Highly recommend. The price point is an extra benefit.

This is a great little portable scale that can be used for a myriad of uses. It is only good for weighing small to very tiny items. The maximum weight capacity is 600 grams, or about 1.32 lbs. It can run off an ac adapter (included) or two AA batteries (not included). It has a variety of units of measure including: lb, oz, kg, g, ct, tl, and pcs. I use this scale mainly in the kitchen for getting specific quantities when it comes to cooking and baking. I have also used the pieces counting functioning to count quantities of the same items. I find it to be a very accurate scale as far as I can tell. The stainless steel pan is removable, which makes it easy to clean and sanitize for kitchen use. It's a great scale for the price.

This is a good scale for around-the-house use.I actually got this scale to weigh a few old coins I had laying around. Unfortunately, there are a lot of counterfeit coins out there today, and weight is one way of identifying them. It works very well for this purpose.Once my wife saw the scale, she commandeered it to the kitchen for weighing cooking ingredients. She likes it as well.The scale itself is simple to use and appears to be accurate. The 600 gram maximum weight is fine for anything I might want to weigh.It has three power options. You can insert a couple of double A batteries for portability. You can plug it directly into a USB port, which is what I do when it’s sitting on my desk. And it comes with a USB to 110v adapter, which my wife uses when it’s in the kitchen.Lastly the compact size is just what I was looking for at roughly 6” X 9”.

This little marvel scale can accurately measure as little as 0.01 gr. I cannot verify actual accuracy at this weight but for my purpose of measuring in grams and tenths of gram this scale is just perfect and it 's upper limit of 600 gr is added bonus. For folks out there who need to measure weight of a single hair to 0.0001 gr this scale is not for you. This scale is definitely worth of every penny.
