They dulled rather quickly. Within 3 weeks the tips were dull. I’ll get them sharpened and hopefully will scissor better

I am a retired dog groomer so I know these scissors. I would have spent more for scissors I would be using all day and to cut through mats and thick fur. But I have only one longhaired dog now that needs minimal scissoring and they are long like I am used to using. These will last me for years and years ~ I will have to will them to someone! I cut my own hair, too, which is thinner than my dog's. But don't dare use them on anything else but hair; but if you are a professional groomer you know that.

I bought these to replace a more expensive brand that was difficult lit to use. These work beautifully. I have a mini poodle and am learning to groom her. I have used these shears give her more of a clean face look on the snout. I also use these to clean up the body of her coat after cutting it with curved shears. It makes the lines disappear and her hair looks more uniform all around. I use these primarily on her legs to get the sharp I want as well. I use these more than the curved shears because they are sharp enough and it’s easier to not make a mistake with them than the curved shears. I think for the money, these are amazing and will work wonders on your pet.

I have spent a small fortune having my two Bichons groomed every six weeks. During this stay at home time, I had to try grooming them myself. I bought some clippers from amazon and these scissors. I had seen a video online with a groomer using long scissors similar to these. I have to say, I’m doing a really good job grooming them myself, and these scissors are absolutely amazing! So glad I took a chance and ordered them. No more taking my babies to the groomer. ❤️

I just began grooming my standard Poodle about ten months ago so I don't have much experience with shears. Through recommendations from the Poodle Forum, I then bought a pair of Gator Entree convex shears which I liked very much. I don't know what the advantage of convex is as far as cutting but I was warned to never drop them. Well, tried as I did, I dropped them several times and the last time, 1 1/2 " broke off the tips. Reading the reviews on shears here on Amazon, I decided not to pay so much for my next pair since I do tend to drop things so I ordered this less expensive pair a couple of weeks ago. I tell you, I can't tell the difference. Like I said, I don't have much experience with the different shears on the market and since I am not a professional grooming multiple dogs in a day, I am extremely happy with these Laazar shears. I am so very pleased that if anything happens to these, I'll definitely order another pair. And I haven't dropped these once!

I was actually very impressed with these shears. I’m an experienced groomer and was looking for something temporary, so I didn’t want to spend a lot. These are really good quality for only being $30, my poodle top knots look so round! My only issue was the packaging, it was in a clear package as shown in the images, but came in a bubble wrap envelope. Some shears could be damaged during processing due to lack of proper packaging.
