This set comes with straights, curves and thinners. The only pair that works well is the straights. The curves and thinners both came unusable, as they have serious snags. I’ve adjusted as many ways as I can find how but nothing helps. If I hadn’t put these on the payment plan they would have all gone back immediately. I’m using the straights though, but they’re costing me $220. NEVER again.

Thinking of sending these back. I bought it once before and love those. These are a full inch shorter than the first! Too stubby!

My absolute favorite brand ever for shears and clipper blades. The shears are great, they come sharp--but I recommend getting them sharpened before use just incase there is a protective shipping coating on the blades. I bought finger rings to help better hold my shears, but they are perfect! They aren't too lightweight or heavy, which helps me avoid hand fatigue while grooming. The set is the way to go! I would be lost without my Geib Gator shears!

The scissors are fine. My issue is with the fact that I thought I was paying an extra $40 on left handed shears. I was sent a right handed set, and then that set was replaced with a new set that was supposed to be left handed, and it was not. This set is valued at $180, I paid about $216. I was kind of ripped off but need my shears so it is what it is. The thinning shears kind of suck. The curves are nice, but I really prefer my straight shears by Master Grooming to the straights in this set. Aside from having to learn this skill right handed since I can't seem to get the customer service I should be getting, the set is decent and not too heavy.

Love these shears. Only reason for 4 stars is that the tips on the curved shears are a little dull. Thinners are amazing!

I honestly don't know why these have such bad reviews. I'm still getting on my feet as a new groomer, so I bought these as a starter set until I can afford bigger better shears. I've used them on a lot of dogs and I haven't had a single problem with them. They cut nice, and get the job done. If you're looking for some shears, I'd recommend these. They came right on time and I love them, Thanks!
