After returning them already once. The problem.stills the same. They do not close, they get stuck and they offer a QR code as a link for a video to fix them. Is in Chinesse btw. I gave up and let the returning period expired . They are low quality, whatever the material they are made. Now a days we keep getting fake and cheap.copies of everything. I have had super cheap shears before that are great quality and that is the reason I ventured into these ones and even gave then the benefit of the doubt by exchanging them rather than returned them and getting a refund. As a Porfessional Pet Groomer I can tell you, this shears will never work, do not buy them .

Professional groomer here! I've been looking for flipper-style curved fishtail for a while, so I jumped on these! They feel light and do the job well! They come tight, so I had to loosen them a few notches to work properly, and that's probably the issue other reviewers have had. Not a fan of the iridecent purple, but thats minor. Definitely recommend.

I bought these 3 years ago and love them. They've been sharpened twice but get used a lot with my job as a groomer so if day they are very durable. I am actually buying a 2nd pair to keep with my show grooming tools as I'm tired of carrying them back and forth between work and show weekends.

I bought these twice. The first pair the teeth kept catching. The second pair... I live. They are so sharp and cut easily. Love them.

Love these shears. As a lefty groomer it can be hard to find good shears. These work great. Great value for what I paid. And I love the coloring. They needed a little oil, and maybe a better cutting edge (most factory edges need sharpening tho), but for the price and quality I don't mind paying for a sharpening. These make round faces so much easier, and great for perimeter trims on dogs you wanna round out like on butts and bellies.

I like the idea of curved chunkers. I imagine they are perfect for poodles and bichons. I tried these out on a poodle and I don’t know what I was expecting, but I was a little disappointed in the quality. I knew I wasn’t getting Japanese steel for $38, but they should at least cut. They didn’t. The shape and size are perfect, but the blades did not really cut the hair. Like another reviewer said, the blade started catching, as well. I pondered whether I wanted to ask my sharpener to try fixing them or just return them. I opted for the return so I can try something else. I’m not saying these are terrible shears. They clearly work for a lot of people based on the reviews, but they didn’t work out for me.

I’m a profession groomer and these have become my go-to chunkers. They are durable and very sharp. So far they have held up to daily use. I recommend them to anyone with experience looking for an awesome shear.

Update: I returned the defective pair and ordered a new pair. They arrived today work flawlessly. I am changing my review from two stars to 4 stars. Hopefully, they will continue to work well and if they do, I will change to 5 stars. I need to use them a few times first. First Comment: Possibly, the pair I got was just defective. When I opened and closed the scissors, the two blades caught on each other, so they don't work correctly. I am sending them back and ordering another pair, in case I just got a bad pair the first time. I liked them very much, they just didn't work and I saw no way to adjust them.
