When connecting the tester to truck, everything was fine and had what I needed to connect and test fuel pressure at the injector rail. The hose could be longer to move the gauge where you can read the gauge while in the driver seat. The fuel pump was supposed to be 60psi, this gauge read 50psi. Ok new pump. replaced pump and fuel pressure was reading 45psi. Ok, bad part from parts store. Not uncommon these days. Replaced the pump with a factory spec part and fuel gauge read 43psi. Called a buddy and got his snap-on gauge, fuel gauge read 65psi. I probably didn't even need to change the first fuel pump. You have to be able to trust your test equipment. Going to buy a good now.

This unit assisted me in determining whether my fuel pump was going bad or not. Saved me the time from doing unnecessary work and actually troubleshooting my 2001 VW Gold on different areas. Should help in the future being I own a lot of old fuel injected vehicles!!

Absolutely useless for connecting to standard Schraeder valve found on most systems.Has tons of adapters for fittings you won't encounterDoes not include the one single most important adapterDOH!
