The Kryptonite Ground Anchor is advertised it comes with two masonry drill bits. Product picture shows two masonry drill bits. One regular masonry drill bit and one SDS rotary hammer masonry drill bit. I purchased two Kryptonite Ground Anchors. Both were missing the SDS rotary hammer masonry drill bit. I sent the manufacturer a message. Hopefully the missing masonry drill bits will be provided.

Very sturdy and well-designed. The only problem was that the bit provided was metric and would not fit in a standard American hammer drill chuck. I had to get a slightly larger inch bit to drill the holes. Also, as other people have suggested, drill a smaller pilot hole first. If you start with the larger bit, it will "skate," and you won't get precise holes. But this item works great for locking my two e-bikes to.

Very heavy duty, all hardware was provided included the concrete drill bit. Although it is good they provide a drill bit, it is very low quality. I was able to drill one hole without problem but the bit stopped cutting half way through the second hole.Save yourself some frustration, get a good 5/8" and 3/8" concrete drill bit. Use the 3/8" to drill a pilot hole before using the 5/8" bit. Be sure to follow the instructions and drill the holes exactly as deep as the directions indicate. The last important tip, be sure to vacuum the concrete dust from the hole before using the 5/8" bit. Take you time and your anchor will be securely bolted to the concrete floor.

I didn't have any concrete to mount this into (gravel front yard) so I dug a 1ft x 1ft x 2ft hole and filled it with concrete reinforced with rebar. I placed the shackle in the center, supported it with rebar so it wouldn't sink, and put just the screws into the concrete. I think I would have preferred longer bolts, but I decided it wasn't a big deal if the 3" ones were being supplied with it.Anyways, this thing isn't going ANYWHERE short of a cutoff wheel or diesel truck, thick chain, and a lot of noise. I'm satisfied with it. Paired it with Kryptonite's Fahgettaboudit w/ New York Lock.

Tweakers steal every bike here in town. Jerks. I love my bike and I have no indoor room to store it.So I bought this + a kryptonite chain. NOT easy to install. I had to hire a handyman and it took him a whole hour of loud drilling to install it. But my bike has been locked up outside for a month now, in a parking area that is easy to see, and where other bikes have been stolen. It hasn't even been touched! Thieves take one look and go away. I'm thrilled to finally have control over who gets to keep my bike!

Excellent anchor point for my motorcycle. Tried drilling into the garage floor, but ran into rebar, so moved it to the garage wall. Took about an hour to drill the 4 holes in the concrete and mount the anchor. Warning for those people about to mount it.... do not hammer in the anchor plugs too far, as the screw won't screw in once the top metal plate is attached! This one, I only could only screw in 3 screws as 1 was hammered into the wall too far! If I'm feeling ambitious this summer, I may purchase another one for other stuff I want to lock down in my garage.

This baby will not come out if installed properly. Using this to attach to chain to hold my generator during peer outages. They give you the drill bit but not one for a pilot hole. Instructions are good, well detailed and make the installation easy. I anchored into concrete and used an sds plus ryobi drill, 18v and it went through the concrete like butter. The anchors are fine. Would use again if needed. Believe me, it's not coming out of the concrete.
