Installation:
Easy to install.
All you need to do is take off the saddlebag, pull the small wire clip off and install the new one which has a bolt on it. Then you thread the new lever into it and off you go

The bolt ( threaded part ) is very soft metal so beware of cross threading which is very easily done bc the nut part that clips onto bike frame causes it to wanna cross thread but overall good stuff

Was worried about cross threading but if you have common sense and a decent mechanical aptitude, you’ll be fine. Difference between these and the old style quarter turn pins is night and day. Much more secure and no more bag vibration. Installed on 2002 Road King.

Product is solid and heavyweight. Just want I needed without the overpriced HD markup. Do be careful though. Easy to cross thread so take your time when screwing in.

Bought these after installing the newer style saddle bags on a 2010 FLHTCU. As some have said the clips are kind of on the cheaper side and you should run a tap thru them to chase the threads before installing. You also need to watch that you don't cross thread them as it can be very easily done. Once installed they are great and feel secure.

First order arrived with package open and nothing inside. Contacted Amazon and was issued a refund and was told to reorder. Second order package arrived which again was opened in the corner but this time the product was inside. Just put them on which was simple. See how they do. I'm still going to check them regularly as I did with the original push and turn lock fasteners.

These things are great. We bought some aftermarket hardbags for my wife’s Heritage and the hardware that came with them was the old quarter twist pins to lock into place. They weren’t super sturdy so I bought these since they are similar to the new style and lock into place. Really like em. They’re easy to cross-thread so if you get resistance just back off and try again. I found that if I support the nut from moving when threading the fasteners, they won’t cross thread. Overall, super happy with them!

Great improvement over the OEM ones I had on the bike. Put them on my 2009 CVO road glide FLTRSE3. Fit like a champ, made of metal, powder coating is great, and the lock washer/ ratcheting mechanism really secures them on tight and they will not back out on their own. Pretty stoked, good buy.
