Works on New DoubleTake Mirror with couple of small washers. I had to add a couple of small washers and it works great. I got a few black washers at the hardware store. I think these will make a good deterrent and they make me feel more comfortable knowing my mirrors will not just be easily walk away.

I can't believe I waitrs so long to get these. Now I don't have to remove my phone mount every time I make a stop while riding my motorcycle. This saves me time and gives me some piece of mind when I'm traveling.

Can be removed by hand. Not secure at all. I will buy a different brand as a replacement. Not buy this product.

This product works great for the shorter Ram arms. Easy install and holds securely. The wrench better allows for more tighting than the Ram thumb knobs. Not a bad thing for those of us with arthritic fingers.The incuded bolts are not really long enough for the long Ram arms on my Doubletake mirrors. You can't use the Ram bolts because they are not metric and the wrong pitch. The locally available metric bolts have heads that are too small and will spin in the socket. I was able to use the included hardware but had to eliminate one of the Ram washers and it just barely worked. Not sure how it will hold up long term. If the included bolts were 5mm longer they would fit the longer arms perfectly. Maybe they sell a set designed for the longer arms and I missed it?After all of that, as others have noted, these can be defeated without too much effort. Really only effective at stopping casual opportunity type theft. I wouldn't leave my GoPro out all night and count on this product to keep it secure but it's great for a lunch stop.

I needed to use the bolt provided, original was standard thread and this part uses fine thread. My original item has 1 largish plastic washer and one smaller steel washer. I put those on in the same order (plastic washer, steel washer) and then installer the included larger steel washer. This assured that the inside of the 'locking mechanism' properly seated and secured the RAM arm and allowing the outer part to rotate freely.Once I got it all figured out, works like a champ.

I got so tired of unmounting and mounting every time I make a stop somewhere, this gives me added security if I have to make a store run. Great addition to my GoPro gear.
