We just installed new countertops and the installer drilled an extra kitchen hole. He suggested we use the hole for a disposal switch. I'd never heard of this and was skeptical. However, I had an extra hole and didn't want a plug, so I ordered the Kraus disposal air switch. I have been pleasantly surprised. It looks modern on the countertop and works great. I'm happy with the outcome.

So many options on Amazon I decided to go with a tried and true brand. Super easy to install and has worked perfectly. Make sure you read the instructions in the listing and drill your hole in the counter to standard size.

Nice product. Twice as expensive as a generic brand but if you want to get the name brand some times you gotta pay up. I kept everything Krauss so the trim and finish would match. Looks great and works as it should. Easy to use, easy to install.

I thought this was a universal switch but was not amused to see that on the unit it says it is rated for 3 amps. A 1 HP garbage disposal draws 10.2 amps, a 3/4 HP disposal draws 9.5 amps.Now do I have to worry that this switch is going to be overloaded? Is it going to start a fire?What the heck is the use of this thing?

The only draw back on this, has to make sure to wipe dry around it or water stain will started to growBut so far it works great
