We have a koi pond and I wanted to have another net on hand for bird season. In 2023, we didn't net the pond, and relied on scooping the leaves out. This worked ok, but turned the pond into a horrible cup of tea, leaving the leaf tannins behind. Cleanup with beneficial bacteria, pond vacuuming, and netting debris took FOUR MONTHS to undo. That's why for 2024 we netted the pond and I can't tell you how thankful I was to have done this. This net is a replacement to have on hand and we are pleased with the two way stretch of it and coverage. Still can see the koi, but small enough to not let even small leaves in. Prevents the birds from getting the koi. I can't speak to other applications, but can tell you this is a good net for the money. Gets done exactly what I need and will save me month of work!
