I took the plunge and went with plastic vs wood which I've usually bought, since I got tired of the stains and worn-away areas on the back side of the seat where the pain fails. This seat is solid and comfortable, very steady on the base. The two things I like best are:1. The screws don't require a nut you hold underneath, hoping to match it to threads from the top. It has a plastic sleeve with a metal anchor you pop into the hole from the top, put on the seat, and drop in the screw and tighten, sort of like a drywall anchor. So easy, and also easy to adjust to center.2. I am so used to the two-some look of wood seats, that I wasn't sure I'd like the way the lid covers the seat, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that is looks sleek and nice.We'll see how it lasts, but it looks and feels substantial. I highly recommend this toilet seat.

Lo instalé super fácil en 3 minutos, el nuevo sistema de anclaje es mas sencillo y queda mejor que el anterior (en herradura), lo unico raro es la tapa que ahora es mas delgada en este modelo, pero ahora cubre todo el asiento. El asiento también cambió, ahora es mas redondeado y cómodo.

Bought one to replace faded old toilet seat. The bolt stem cannot be put into the bolt hole in the toilet bowl, so I had to cut it into two pieces: the top step part and the bottom washer (nut) part. Intallation was straightforward. With the asymmetric plastic fitting at the connection point, it is possible to do fine adjustment so the seat is in align with the bowl. I am very satisfied with the product and would buy again.

We replaced all our toilet seats in our house to these. I love them. They look great on the toilet, even though the toilet is not a Kohler brand. I love the ready latch on the back. Easy to clean. Soft close works great.

Just a note to say don’t get frustrated if things go awry , this was a quality product that was a returned item offered at quite a discount but the first two times arrived missing installation components.Not this time as it arrived complete and ready for installation.A really good value for your money and helping keep product from having to be thrown away.
