The frame is way more sturdy than I thought it would be for the price. The mattress is also a much better quality than I guessed. It’s so comfortable!And while it’s simple to fold out, it’s much easier to fold back up with 2 people.I’m very impressed by the quality!

I got this to replace a cheaper metal futon couch I bought at the beginning of the year.The package arrived partially damaged and there were screws floating around in the packaging. However, with that aside, I'd have to say assembly is nice and straightforward. It does take some time to assemble. Especially if you're doing it by yourself I think for me it took about 2 hours. And that ass combined with finding all the loose screws, reading the instructions, and trying to line up the right parts.Once I got it assembled (and huffed and puffed it into place), I dropped my futon from the old metal one onto it and flopped down.And boy howdy is there a difference.For one, the seat area is a bit narrower and there are no arm rests, so that made it slightly awkward at first (I tend to sit cross legged on my couch normally) and that was new. But overall, it FEELS comfortable and sturdy. But unless if you're like me and used to sleeping on rocks and mountain crevices (former army) I suggest getting a slightly fluffier futon mattress. Because this doesn't really have the slats that metal ones do that bend slightly, it can feel stiff. Also the back will slouch onto you if you grab at the mattress a bit much. So I recommend some simple corrections there.Aside from that, I'd say this one FEELS like it can handle 600 lbs or so no problem. But I'm not brave enough to try it so I'm defaulting to "just trust me bro"

I admit that it took a little time to put together but the directions are very clear and all the pieces - even the hardware- are clearly marked. The wood is solid and the futon frame is a perfect high quality replacement for an older one. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it strongly.

Mattress seems to be nice. The frame is a little fragile and is NOT easy to convert. Takes 2 people and a little maneuvering to get it to fold up or down. Plus it needs to be pulled away from the wall in order or convert. For the price we expected a little better quality.

I've put together half a dozen frames at this point, and this one was by far the easiest to assemble. Make sure to pay attention to when to fully tighten the assembly bolts. Also, the nylon webbing is there to make assembly easier. I was a bit worried because one if the nylon straps tore at one point, but it hasn't affected the structural integrity. It is incredibly sturdy, especially compared to aluminum frames I've bought in the past. Overall a very solid and easy to assemble wood frame.

This futton is not only comfortable and stylish, it is REALLY well built, sturdy and durable. The parts come organized with simple directions on how to assembly. Even know our first guests were our fur babies, our first human guest could not believe what a great nights sleep he had on a futton! (6ft/220 lb male). We love this as our office couch and guest room bed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Assembly instructions all seem to be just picts, no words these days, but these were easy enough to follow along. Assembly took us about 45 mins. It’s very sturdy & very comfortable and gives a comfy place to sit in our “office” and will be an comfy bed for extra guest space. The mattress has springs in it, so no lumpy stuffing like some futons or painful support bars like hide-a-beds. We’ll see what our extra guest coming next month thinks!

We were very happy by the wood of it we were very happy how easy it was to put together but the most disappointing part of it when we got it put together we put the mattress in it never stayed in a sitting position so basically I bought a bed frame
