Solid components and exquisitely adjustable seat with a large array of possible settings (angle, height, etc.) which allows adjustment to one's body habitus. This is what I needed, as opposed to a lot of the "one size fits all" kneeling chairs out there.Incredibly tedious assembly requiring a degree in German engineering. One wrench/nut size was mismatched so I had to use my own tool. After all is done, one has to peel off all the little stickers from the individual parts. They should offer a fully assembled unit or a white glove delivery/assembly service for a fee, many of us don't have the time/skill set to build a chair from scratch.

Packaging: Lucky it made it w/out damage, as there is little protection for the parts. It was double-boxed from Amazon, which helps.Assembly: Pretty straightforward, but as mentioned already, the knee rest pin does not line up so it is impossible to secure the knee rest properly. The tubes on the frame that the pin go through are mis-aligned, so the pin goes through the first tube and the adjustment holes, but not the tube on the other side. Not fixable without drilling out the holes or some other modification such as finding / using a smaller pin, which would then have a loose and wobbling fit.Overall quality: Not a high quality chair - I'd would say just adequate. There is a fair amount of play / wobble in the assembled chair.Comfort: It is pretty comfortable in my opinion, but takes some getting used to. The adjustability is pretty good, and allows for tailoring it to your preferences and size. Most of the other similar chairs didn't look like there was much adjustment, so I think this is a plus for this one. I find it more comfortable w/out the foot pads, but again, you can adjust it or take it off completely, so at least you have the option.Overall: For the price it should be more highly engineered and fit tighter etc..., and clearly it should not have welded parts that are misaligned, as most users will have no possible way to fix this. With just a little refinement this could be a great chair, but as it is now, it's fair at best.

I am basing this review on assembly. I have only actually sat in the chair for a few minutes so I cannot speak as to its long term comfort or durability. I got all the way to step 15 out of 17. I could not get the pin in the frame for the seat. My husband pointed out that the frame is crooked and that’s why the pin wouldn’t go in. Luckily for me, he has lots of tools and knowledge and was able to make it so the pin would go through all 4 holes. Even then, I can see that adjusting the seating position isn’t going to be easy. If he hadn’t been able to fix it, I would have had the very inconvenient task of boxing everything back up and hauling a huge and heavy box to UPS to return.

One of the adjustable bolts on the kneepad won’t go through because the metal is welded incorrectly and is on an angle. We will have to put a makeshift metal rod in. Disappointed since this was a very expensive chair.
