I love my new KneadAce Pro Sourdough Bread Starter Kit! It has a nice large opening so I can get my whole hand inside the jar to clean and an even broader bottom to hold more product. I like that it comes with the two different types of covers for the different styles of proofing. The spatula was a pleasant surprise on how it is narrow and can mix the ingredients easily allowing the dough to clean off easily. Also, having a thermometer on the jar helps me to know if I need to move the jar to a warmer or cooler location so the starter will develop well. And the customer service was a pleasant surprise! They got back to me immediately and solved my issue.

This product is great especially if you are new to making sourdough bread like me! The Jar is thick glass and very well made and comes with easy to read instructions. You also get a wonderful spatula that makes mixing the starter easy. The best part is the customer service which is excellent. I've used this service several times, and Michelle, their Community Support Person, replies quickly and she answers my questions completely and provides me with lot of great information. Michelle knows sourdough, so it wonderful to have a live person to ask questions. Learning to make sourdough bread on the internet is difficult when there are so many different versions out there. Thank you Michelle and KneadAce. You can't go wrong with KneadAce!

these starter containers are great, perfect size. they come with a silicone top for storage in the refrigerator after your starter has developed. it also comes with fabric covers which are pretty awesome for the starting process. the 2 silicone spatulas are really well made. They were a bit pricey for the set.

This jar is perfect for those new to creating a sourdough starter (that’s me 🤣) Everything, from the time band, the thermometer, to the skinny spatula and silicone cover, all make it less intimidating for someone just starting out! I am in the Northeast, where it is freezing and very dry right now, so I have been putting my starter inside the oven with the light on at night, when we keep our house cooler. The thermometer allowed me to see that putting the jar right next to the oven light with the oven door closed was a bit too warm, but moving the jar to the opposite side of the oven away from the light, puts it at a perfect 75-79F range. The silicone cover was the key to my starter not crusting over and preventing growth - I had reached out to Meni (CEO) and asked how to resolve the dry layer on top because it’s been so cold here, he suggested putting the silicone cover on top and it was exactly what it needed.Oh, and let’s talk about customer service…. Meni personally answered every single question I sent to him, and helped me to have a very successful first bake (yesterday) with a very young starter (12 days old at time of making bread). Between emails back and forth, and the extremely helpful walkthrough videos available (I am a ‘need to see it’ kind of person), this newbie was able to bake sourdough 🤣I need to mention the quality of the packaging as well (for all of these products). I understand that it is not important to everyone, but I feel if a company takes time and effort (and $$$) to present their products in a nice way, it speaks volumes. The packaging is very high quality and esthetically pleasing, and it is clear that a lot of attention goes toward presentation. Quality products AND quality packaging - I have no hesitation purchasing more products from KneadAce.

Starting my sourdough journey for the second time, I really love the quality of this brand. The tracker band helps keep my ADHD organized as I know when I last fed my starters and I can mark the level all with the same item. The heat sensor on the side works (note- the sensor is not dishwasher safe- once on these must be hand washed to keep the thermometer working). I love the cloth tops for breathability and the silicone for when I throw them on the fridge. All in all, great product and I can't wait to buy from them again!

I have been struggling getting any growth with my plastic jar before this came in. After transferring my starter to this jar and feeding, I finally saw improvements. I believe that the glass's conduction of heat helped the process.I like that it comes with a temp gauge (which is a sticker you have to place yourself) and really helps make sure your starter can thrive.The jar feels like it's built of good quality. Weighs 605 grams and 609 with the elastic strap. The breathable cover and silicone cover (for the fridge) are nice additions. No complaints nor comments about the spatula, it does the job.
