Estaba en duda al comprarlo porque apenas había hecho el servicio, al hacerlo después de 6 meses le quedó perfecto!

I use these for my 2007 Mazda 6. They work better and are even often cheaper than the competition!

Have always trusted k&n products for the reliability and performance. This filter for a Mazda3 is extremely hard to find! Thankfully amazon carries it! Anyone with a Mazda3 with the 2.3L engine knows there is an extra step or two while doing an oil change; if I am gonna have to go the extra way, might as well use the best filter. The ps 7013 fits best of all the filters I have used and a definite increase of power is felt after the oil change.

Installed on a Mazda 6 2.5l engine and works like an OE part. This part will also fit the 2.3l engines.

Fit my 2009 Mazda 6 2.5 liter engine perfectly and the price was cheaper than my local auto parts store. I know they did a mid-year change and some of the 2009 Mazda's have the regular cannister type oil filter, and some have the cartridge type like mine does. Just double check before ordering. I would definitely recommend this product.P.S. The oil filter cap wrench size for my 2009 Mazda 6 was "74 mm with 14 flutes". I had quite a difficult time determining the cap wrench size prior to doing my oil change. I was shocked by how much conflicting information there was on the internet and how two different Mazda dealerships had part numbers, but we're unable to give me the actual size. So hopefully this extra info will save some of you a bit of time and hassle.

I really like this filter. It provides a great filter to my oil and hopefully is protecting my engine from unwanted wear from large metallic particles. There were some complaints from reviewers about it being made of paper and some pictures of it buckles. I think the paper is not a concern if you are changing it when you change the oil and regular intervals and as for the buckling, They make the filter a little long so it creates a seal and so it buckles a little but I feel it is a quality product especially for the price.

seems a little too tall for 2005 mazda3. When I took out the old filter it looks like it was crushed a little. None of the fins were torn but you can tell that it was crushed. I did not over tighten and I've always changed the oil on my own car so I know what I'm doing.

When I did my first oil change on my almost new 2009 Ford Escape 2.5Lthe filter I purchased locally had over-sized O-rings.The O-rings of this K&N filter were perfect.I tossed out the old factory OEM O-rings and got nice fitting K&N O-rings installed.Even after using the small hex-screw drain, it's still messy removing the plastic housing.Be sure use to have rags and a catch pan in place. I also used disposable rubber gloves. I needed them! Not as clean & neat as a screw-on filter, but not hard at all.The plastic housing comes off easy, whereas screw-on filters can sometimes be extremely hard to unscrew.Okay, the 7,500 mile oil change and tire rotation is done! What's next?(I may actually have more miles on my bicycle).. :)
