This K&N cold air intake system is engineered for your vehicle. A mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube helps increase the volume of airflow to your engine and provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque with no tune required. This intake system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter™ featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom designed open heat shield helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes. Awesome upgrade, the design allows way better air flow than some other, more expensive, air intakes; with that comes better performance and better gas millage. The install is pretty much fool proof. all around if you really into your car or just wanna same a bit more at the pump this is a good way to do it.

I have a 2002 ford mustang gt. I bought this air intake to increase horsepower and to also replace my old air filter.....I thought why replace just the filter when I can replace the entire system. Installing the intake was fairly easy...It was more work that I was expecting but not bad. The instructions were vague in the parts you needed the most instruction. Mostly trying to install the anchor brackets to the vehicle its self..it doesn't illustrate which direction the brackets go. Once it was installed i could tell a difference in sound & pickup. Overall im happy and the system looks very sweet installed

Dyno-ed my 4.6 Mustang and added about (13-15)HP. BUT that was in cold (40) degree weather. As the temp goes up the HP goes down (4-6) HP when (85).Also I have a V-6 and V-4. Ford F-150, Acura Integra. The smaller the engine the more porportinate HP it will produce. If you are at all noise sensitive DONT buy this. When you stomp on the gas it sounds like a supercharger. Now if you are easy on the pedal you will never know it is there. The more your car revs the more you will hear it suck in the air. If you are at all mechanical savy you can put this on yourself. It was very easy for me. Bottom line it is a cheap and easy way to make more HP!

I am pleased with the K&N cold air intake kit, I can feel the engine has a little bit of pep in it's step. Not that expensive and kit matched up perfectly.
