This K&N cold air intake system is engineered for your vehicle. A mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube helps increase the volume of airflow to your engine and provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque with no tune required. This intake system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter™ featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom designed open heat shield helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes. Not legal for sale or use in California on any pollution controlled motor vehicle.

I fitted this to a Hawk STi, first 40 miles driven and no problems. It's easy to fit and although I can't say for sure if there is a power gain, the engine does feel more responsive and the turbo seems to spool quicker and lower in the RPM range, which is value enough... Most notable is the noise, which is epic! You get a loud throaty intake roar when you throttle on for accel, which smooths to the intake suction and turbo noise, then the whoosh at shifting gear (from the blow off valve), which can certainly be heard from outside the car.... as for cruising on the motorway I didn't notice that it was any louder than the stock set-up which is certainly a good thing in my mind.The car is standard apart from a cobra sport centre and pro drive backbox, and fitting this induction kit doesn't seem to have adversely affected driveability or put the MIL on, so a remap might not be necessary, but is probably recommended to make the most of it.

Well engineered product. Straight forward installation requiring only a basic tool kit. Unleashes noticeable additional performance to the standard WRX engine. Making the WRX more drive-able and adds the air induction sound note. MPG hasn't changed dramatically on urban cycle, but when driven as a WRX should be: who cares its just too much fun with this filter installed. Expensive purchase price but absolutely worth it!!!

You can feel your engine ripping in more air above 4,000 RPM. Really adds to the turbo boost. Easy install for anyone new to modifying their Subaru.

This product installs easy on my 2003 WRX, performs great and sounds good from inside the cockpit. CAUTION-It makes you shift at higher RPM because of the sound and performance. What fun.

Easy to install, bolt the main unit together first. Car feels faster, sounds better without being intrusive. Love it. Put one on before cat-back.
