This K&N cold air intake system is engineered for your vehicle. A mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube helps increase the volume of airflow to your engine and provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque with no tune required. This intake system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter™ featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom designed open heat shield helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes. Not legal for sale or use in California on any pollution controlled motor vehicle.

My MINI Cooper loves this intake. It runs cooler and does have more torque I notice in climbing the hills here in WV. A bit pricey though. Looks great, trouble is I have to open the hood to show it off. Kinda hard to do when I am going down the road!!

This is awesome. The intake sound is mean, but doesn't sound like some garbage folgers exhaust. It is an easy install, and definitely increased horsepower. The horsepower gains were measured on a car that was just hardly broken in. It said plus 4.xx horsepower. My car has 110 thousand miles on it and I definitely gained horsepower from this mod. Thanks K&N. You've made a loyal customer.

This kit came with everything I needed to change out my intake. I was done in about 45 minutes. I really didn't care to dyno my Mini, and it isn't advertised to be a huge power gain. I bought it mostly for the fuel economy benefit. I have noticed my tanks are lasting longer, but I haven't bothered calculating actual mpg yet. The kit came with the water repellent sleeve, which is nice because it rains all the time down here. I've checked it a few times, but so far, it has stayed dry. Oh yeah, it sounds great too.
