This intake system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter™ featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom designed open heat shield helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes. Not legal for sale or use in California on any pollution controlled motor vehicle.

I have never played under the hood too much before installing this. K&N supplied an actual step by step guide to include pictures of my actual engine! Was so simple, only took a hour to install.

The first thing I noticed after putting this in was the instant, ferocious growl. Plus a little more of the in-your-seat power we all crave. Obviously, with all this fun power comes a little cost to your gas mileage, but it can be recovered with some careful driving.
