The feet are plastic so they slide ALOT on a tile or hardwood floor ( could be ok on carpet) makes it unusable as the foot tips should be rubber or silicon.Very surprised that this detail is overlooked by K&M usually their quality is exceptional.Foot plate looks like metal in photo but it is ABS plastic. ( which makes it lighter in a gig bag than a metal one, but it will only work on carpet floors.Sending it back for refund.

Expected more from K&M. Top plate is plastic and slightly smaller than expected, with bottom legs like most others. Not less sturdy, but also not better than less expensive competitor products. So far no problems, and works fine.

I've played classical guitar on and off for 30 years. I was looking for a foot stool that had a flat deck so I gave this one a try. It is incredibly small and unstable. I wear a men's 9.5 shoe and in sock feet both my heel and toes extend past the front and back of the deck. The legs of the stand are considerably shorter than the deck making the stand unstable which is a bad thing when holding a valuable instrument. Lastly the notches on the bottom of the deck are plastic and ripe for breaking. Bottom line....this should be marketed as a stand for children only kids will find it useful.

I was a little disappointed in it, because to prop your foot for a pedi, it laid a little too flat, It was uncomfortable trying to raise it at an angle to reach and paint the toenails.

My guitar teacher was using a large wooden block to adjust his leg height. Being a perfectionist i thought there must be a better solution. This is it. Compact yet sturdy

It's light, about 1/2 lb, it is sturdy, and its height adjustment is easy. It is plastic, so you don't want to put your full weight on it.

Looks 100% as picture on website. I assumed the top surface was aluminium too - it isn't, it is ABS plastic, but fairly substantial and hopefully robust. After all it is a foot rest and not designed to be stood on. It is small, light weight and appears well made, but is actually only 178 at it's tallest setting. Exactly what I was after.
