Ich habe meinen Kindern zwei der KLIM Boomboxen zu Weihnachten geschenkt! Mega tolle Produkte, toller Klang und sehr schönes Design. Einfach einwandfrei! Sie nutzen die Boomboxen jeden Tag, dienen auch als Einschlafhilfe aber auch im Auto mit Kopfhörer - so kann jedes Kind das hören was es möchte.Leider ist jedoch nach kurzer Zeit die Antenne von einer Boomboxen kaputt gegangen (sie hat sich beim Ausziehen gelöst). Ich habe den Vorfall umgehend reklamiert (mit Foto). So ein tolles Service wie bei KLIM hatte ich noch nie! Ich habe sehr rasch die Antwort erhalten das sie mir ein neues Gerät zusenden und ich das defekte behalten darf. Das defekte ist jedoch fürs CD hören einwandfrei nutzbar. Das neue Gerät kam wenige Tage später und die Kinderaugen leuchteten.Danke!!!!! Danke an das tolle KLIM-Team und besonders an Stephan.

According to the instruction booklet, one just plugs it in, turns it to "on," hits the "power" button, and it starts!Oh, no, not at all. Although the power was clearly on (lights on), no amount of poking or holding either the power or the mode buttons resulted in anything, whatever the instruction booklet tells you. I even took out the batteries, thinking maybe they were fouling it up. So, I repacked and returned the first box, thinking it defective. The second arrived--to the exact same problem!Only when, in *complete frustration*, did I start poking ANY button, that the +VOLUME button started the machine. The power button still seems to do nothing but start the lights and turn the whole thing OFF. It still won't turn it ON. I just randomly poke buttons until it comes on. It plays things fine. But the instructions are complete nonsense and I don't think it works right. If it continues to flake out, I'll return it for a refund. (I'd upload a video of me trying to turn it on by the power button to demonstrate, but Amazon won't allow it.)I DO NOT recommend this machine. Buy something else that works the ways the instructions say it should.

This is a nice little boombox which provides adequate sound for an average size room. It's flashing lights in the speaker add a nice touch. It is in itself pretty durable. You can pick it up without having the album stop or skip in most cases. The only problem I had was with the cord. I accidentally stepped on the plug resulting in one of the metal prongs falling out. I've never seen such a cheaply made cord! I suppose I could make good use of the rechargeable batteries it comes with to continue to use it, but I need to buy a battery charger now!

The CD player on my ancient boom box stopped working so I decided to get this one. It's compact, the sound quality is good enough, and it does the job when I can get it to work. Sometimes the electronic controls don't cycle thru the expected menu, but display something else entirely. The power cord also comes out of the back of the player very easily. So not great, but perhaps good enough.

Very nice, compact, good sound, amazing FM tuner, rechargeable batteries furnished. This is not for giant pool parties / picnics, but more than sufficient for most activities. Especially like the USB port in front to play my favorite music. Easy to operate once you become familiar with it.

I have had a lot of trouble finding a CD boombox that would hold up and play very well. So, the reviews on this little player were very encouraging. I bought it, and even though the price is a little high, the boombox plays great and sounds fantastic. So far, I have had nothing but enjoyment when listening to my CD's on this little player. There are a few things that I would have liked to have on this. For example, the player displays the track number, but only for a few seconds, then it just shows the time of the song. If you have to pause a song in the middle, then it will only hold for a few minutes, before shutting off. The problem is, the player will not continue where you left off. So, unless you know what track you are listening to, good luck in continuing where you left off. Also, it doesn't say how long the total CD time is. Also a few other problems with the display. Nothing major, just a few things they could have improved on, but didn't. I do give it 5 stars, as the sound and sturdiness of the CD player is fantastic. So overall, a great player. A little pricey, and the digital display, could have been better. But, if you want a sturdy, well-built CD boombox, then this one is definitely a great choice.I just added this- I had a wonderful time with the customer service. My player was making a small hissing sound. So they sent a new one. Now they both play great, it's just the one that has hissing. Well, they sent a new one and told me to keep them both. That was extremely generous of them. The hissing is only noticeable when the music is not playing, and the player is on. When the music plays, then the noise is impossible to hear. So I have an amazing player in the one unit. And a slightly less than a perfect player in the other one. They were very kind and friendly. Great company to do business with. I will definitely do business with them going forward. Thank you to the Klim company.

The manufacturer recommends you set aside the (four pre-installed) batteries if you plan on mostly using this plugged in. Especially with the batteries removed, this CD player/FM radio is so light and easy to carry that just based on its weight and portability, you would assume its aural output is tinny and/or underpowered. But you would be wrong! To me (I listen mostly to classical music and NPR) this KLIM Boombox has vastly better sound quality than comparable familiar brand name players that regularly go for twice the price. I can't comment on the batteries since I am only using it plugged in, but they are designed to recharge when the player is plugged into a wall outlet. Both the CD player and FM radio features have been very easy to use. I had not heard of KLIM prior to purchasing this item, but based upon this experience, I will look for KLIM in the future.
