Super ist das man die Lautsprecherbeleuchtung zusätzlich ausschalten und auch wieder anschalten kann.Der Akku hält auch super so das das Radio überall mit hingenommen werden kann. Our little loves this radio. Perfect size for here to tote around. She often listens to children's stories on CD in her room, so this is perfect for that. The functions all work well and she can navigate it pretty easily. The radio reception is good and she likes the lights that accompany the music. She's nuts about owls and the the color purple too, so this is right up her alley. The sound quality is fair, not great but this is a child's boombox were talking about here. Overall, very pleased with this radio.

I thought it would be fun to get my kids a boombox like what I used to have growing up. This didn't disappoint! I've shown them how to use CD's, audiobooks and the radio. There's even an antenna for them to adjust when the connection isn't great. They've spent a lot of time jamming in their room since getting this for Christmas.I need to figure out if there's a way to adjust the flashing lights on the speakers. It can be a little much at night or when they want to listen to an audiobook at bedtime. Unfortunately, in the Christmas chaos the instructions are... somewhere.

This is perfect for our 5 year old for her room. Plays local radio stations and can also play CDs. The LEDs are really nice and bright and she loves them

Not gonna lie, I don’t have kids and I got this for myself. No shame. The glowy lights going while playing an old favorite cd is a vibe, as some would say. In all seriousness: it’s cute, it works well, and it’s fun. Love owls so that was a plus. Very happy indeed!

I picked this up to be our new everyday work radio so it has and will continue to see everyday wear and tear (and I will update my review as time progresses, if needed). My initial and probably most important overall thought about this radio is that the sound quality is acceptable. I mean, it's no Bose or JL Audio in clarity, and it noticeably starts to distort when turned up louder, but for an affordable all-in-one radio the surround of the speakers are molded rubber (not paper) and it starts out loud even at low volume, which is nice. It does a respectable job playing the highs and mids. Don't expect bass because, despite the appearance and molded design of the speakers, they simply can't handle all three levels (highs, mids, and lows) simultaneously so the designers made a built-in crossover which essentially kills the bass.Overall, it's fairly lightweight and easy to use. The skip/seek right and left buttons control the radio tuning. The bright lavender color on an all white background isn't as ostentatious as I originally imagined.2 minor concerns are the speakers are unprotected/no grills--for a kid running around with this boombox in their hand, or using this radio in a "hazardous" workplace, this may be a precarious notice--and, as far as I know, there isn't a way to stop the perpetual flashing lights. If you kid already has ADD this feature may not be a problem (it might even be to their delight!), but to have it simply setting on a shelf in a workplace or wherever, unless you work at a roller skating rink, bowling alley, or plan on having a disco, not being able to turn off the perpetual light rotation is very redundant.So, if you don't mind perpetual light rotation, and this will be used in a place nowhere near running feet or sharp objects, this might just be the perfect radio for you and/or your kids.Side note, the CD player feature is a cool throwback to the 90's, and it should be known that the player also comes with USB and Auxiliary input connections on the front for somewhat newer integration; however, there is NO bluetooth.The radio can be played through batteries only or plugged into an AC electrical outlet.Happy Listening!
