Was very excited about receiving this product. However, after setting it up and the four cameras seemed to be working we tried to finish the setup with the television and the system needed an update. We followed the instructions but then the cameras didn’t work with the update version. Am returning to Amazon.

Decent product, installs easily and works great. However, upon installing, one camera battery discharged in a few days. Found out through troubleshooting, the panel was defective. Contacted Kittyhok and after 8 run around emails, I finally decided my time was worth more than buying a new panel. I would not recommend buying due to lack of support from Kittyhok China. If they had a US based company, I would gladly pay $100 more for local support.

I had to buy this product for security reasons. One of my camaras failed and would not charge I even brought it in the house as was requested and tried charging it. Evidently the batteries were defective and would not hold a charge. After contacting and communicating with Kitty they sent me a replacement camara that works great and does what it's meant to do. GREAT JOB KITTYHOK!!!! Finally a company who keeps their word!!! Keep up the good work!!

UPDATE: I was mistaken saying there was no zoom. There absolutely is a zoom function. It requires you to select the camera by long pressing on it. I apparently had not held the long press long enough.For the price, this is a really great system. Video is sharp. Ability to pan and tilt far surpasses my old stationary Arlo cameras. I reviewed the listing description for two things. First, I cannot find where it mentions needing a monitor with a USB port in order to view and configure the system. This is important not only for configuration, you also need to find the QR code that allows you to register the device on the app. Also, there was a storage card in the NVR base station. That was a pleasant surprise.

System was easy to install and configure. Had it up and running in no time. Motion sensing is too sensitive and have been unable to set it so only a human form will trigger an alarm. At its lowest sensitivity setting it is still set off if windy (trees moving) or if a car goes by the road. I did expect the camera would be able to track and point towards the movement that triggered an alarm but it doesn't. Motion appears to be fully a manual funcion.

This was the only system I found on Amazon at the time that had all the features I was looking for in a security camera system. Excellent picture quality, night vision, motion detection, wire free installation, solar powered, and the ability to move the cameras remotely.There were some problems installing it. If you mount the camera hanging from the ceiling, instead of a wall, there is not enough mounting rail, I felt, to sufficiently hold the camera in a high wind and no way of locking it on the rail as you can if it is wall mounted. I made a a fix by gluing a piece of particle board to the body of the camera to support it and lock it on. I notified the company and they said they would suggest the improvement to the engineers in the next upgrade. The app that comes with the video recorder works fine with the mouse. The app on my phone works fine, except that it is not the most user friendly. Another thing they could improve on is the app for a PC laptop computer. It was a nightmare to get working. Because they are in China there is no phone support, but their willingness to help me through email support was excellent. They worked with me for over an hour one night helping me get the app on my laptop working. Their ability to communicate in English was also very good. They appear to be a fairly new company so they have some things to learn and improvements to make, but give them time I think they will earn that 5 Star review.

Worked great at first. Then after 5 months, they started dying. Removed the solar panels and purchased power cables. Worked better then they'd every worked previously. Picture quality and reliability was perfect. This worked for two weeks. Now two cameras aren't working at all. Potentially related to the temperature outside. We've been in the 30s every time that I've had the most problems. Customer service has been pretty responsive, but their solution is for me to send the cameras back, so that they can confirm the non working status (at my expense). Once they determine that they have in fact, stopped working, they will then send replacements. Knowing that this can take weeks, I've òpted to purchase something different. My company is not in the best part of town and I've already had something stolen since the cameras haven't been working. I just can't wait weeks without them. I've climbed up and down the sides of my building, installing and reinstalling these so many times to troubleshoot. Bottom line is that they are not reliable and will not give you the piece of mind that you seen when buying something like this. I'll send mine in for replacement and sell the ones they serve me back to help offset the cost of replacement, but I will not put these back up
