For the last two holidays I needed to prepare food for the family in individual containers to keep Covid protocol. My first thought was to use ceramic ramekins but these 8 ounce foil cake cups worked out so much better. No real cleanup and leftovers could easily be distributed when family asked if they could take home main courses or desserts.The cups, when filled, were easily stored on baking trays in the refrigerator until time to bake or reheat the contents in the oven. They saved time in clean up and in advance prep meal planning. Our family avoided the worry over meals served family style during this pandemic. Each socially distanced table had their own portions of food and it was actually fun to serve food this way. Very colorful, too. I ordered the foil cups in red and in gold. Colors worked for both Thanksgiving and Christmas 2020.

Pans are nice pans and the cake baked nicely. The seller sent two extras in case some were bent but probably 5-6 pans were bent. That's why the review is for 4 stars and not 5. The covers fit tightly.

I bought these to make individual flans / custards for many people. I was looking for a colorful cup and these red ones were perfect. I needed to transport them and the lids snapped on nice and tight, so I could stack them. The bonus, was that I could easily loosen the flan and flip it into the deep lid and serve. Everyone of them came out beautifully. I can also wash and reuse them for other desserts.
