This thing just messed up our whole project. I took a measurement with this laser measuring tape and assumed it was accurate, went downstairs and ripped my board to the distance required, got back upstairs, and the board is a whole inch too short. I checked the measurement, and the problem was that this measuring tape gave me a reading that was off by over an inch at only 13 inches. The distance was 13 11/16", and this thing reads it at 12 5/8". It wrecked my whole project, because I've been working with the assumption that I had over an inch to work with, and I never did, and now I've further ripped my board down, and the whole thing is just hosed. I have an inch and a half gap in the wall desk I was making, all because I had the audacity to assume that the measuring tape I bought would actually give me semi-accurate measurements. We have a second laser measuring tape that was much cheaper than this one that is perfectly accurate and we've never had a problem. I've double checked everything to make sure I wasn't measuring from the wrong place. I've checked it against my other laser tape, and against my normal measuring tape. This thing was definitely the problem. Would not recommend. You can't use it for anything more than making rough estimates on large distances. It would probably be adequate for measuring the square footage of a room or your yard, where an inch or so isn't going to matter. Do not use this when you're taking measurements where the exact distance is important.Even before I realized that the measurement is inaccurate I wasn't happy with this device, as it's unintuitive and difficult to use. You can't just push a button and have it show you a measurement. You have to click the button to save the current measurement before you can see what the measurement was. I want to be able to hold the thing up and see the measurement adjust in real time as I move the thing back and forth, but you can't do this.Just not a great product.

This laser is super accurate. Im in real estate and it makes measuring room sizes or buildings a breeze. It's light weight and compact. I'll never use a measuring tape again.

Works very well - I'm an occasional DIY user and it's good enough quality for me - if I was a builder etc I might look for something a bit more rugged - but then I'd expect to have to pay more for that - pleased!

Vale ogni centesimo e vi farà risparmiare tempo e fatica in innumerevoli progetti.

I've recently been looking at real estate properties and found the Kiprim LD50E Laser Tape Measure 50M Compact Laser Measurement Tool extraordinarily useful in measure room sizes along with square feet. This tool is intuitive to use, lightweight, and fits into my pocket. I highly recommend this laser tape measure if you are shopping for real estate and/or planning to do some remodeling in your home or storefront.

Recomendable.

OK, I've had the classic Stanley black and yellow tape measure for years. For some things it is quick and easy. "What's the size of that table?" But a while ago I needed to get the measurements of a very oddly shaped room in order to make a model of it. My mental estimate was that the longest measurement was mayb 60 feet. Lay donw the 8 foot tape and move it perhaps 8 times? I don' think so. This came to the rescue. Just push the button and point to the opposite wall with the red spot at the same height, and read the length in feet and inches (or metric if you would rather. Need to measure a distant height, there's a way to do that. How about X, Y and Z for volume? Sure.It comes with a little belt holster, wrist loop, a playing cad sized reflective 'target' an assistant might hold, and multi-language instruction sheet which explains the icons for selecting measurement modes, etc. It has bubble levels in the body so you are sure of straight-line measurements. What it did NOT reveal is whether the distance measurement includes the length of the device. (My old Stanley tape says "include 2" for body of case". So is the measurement from the lens on the end, or the butt of the device if you press it against a wall? You will have to run a little experiment to find out - As my old physics text book used to say: "It is left as an exercise for the student."

This is a handy measuring device. Compact size. Clear easy to read display and easy to use. Its price point is good. I found distance measurements to be accurate. While it works fine indoors in average and room light, unfortunately it does not work outdoors in bright sunlight. This is disappointing because I bought it with an intention of using it outdoors. Haven't tried volume measurements as I am not needing this sort of measure. Includes a strap and soft pouch. I will still keep it to use when conditions are suitable to use it.

I had one of these before, and had trouble with it because it was simply difficult to deal with harder to use than it was worth. This one is small compact but not too small as to being hard to find or easy to lose. They’re only a few buttons so it’s economical as far as the set up is concerned it doesn’t have too many options which is what you really want. at least I want to tape measure that’s just a tape measure. I don’t want a bunch of bells and whistles. I simply want to measure things and this does that, it’s not hard to configure or understand and it turns on, and turns off is very easy to make calculations on everything is simple. The only extra thing it does is it will calculate one measurement and subtract one from the other which is handy. I wouldn’t want more than that. It also has the ability to measure from the tip or from the base of the tool meaning that you can make a measurement from the top or the bottom, depending upon how you wanna work and this is also handy all around I love it it’s a great toy and a useful tool the same time, I’m not sure how long the batteries will last but so far I’ve been using it for about a month and a half I think without any trouble
