North America buyers beware. Seems to be built ok, only problem (and this is half my fault) it doesn't change over to feet or inches. Wouldn't have taken much coding to do it. Measuring tape is in both, but the electronic read out seems to be in meters only.

This is such a great upgrade over my old standard tape measure. It seems pretty heavy duty and the buttons are big, raised nicely making them easy to find and use, same with the large LED screen on top. I love all the different options you have for taking different types of measurements, finding center and lining things up. This is going to make doing things around the house so much easier.It did come with an instruction manual, unfortunately its completely in what I assume is Chinese and not since I don't read Chinese it was of no help. Luckily the buttons are all labeled and the screen easy to read so with some playing around I've been figuring it out and it does work well but given all it does it would've been so much easier with the instructions. I like that it also has the standard measuring tape as well so you have options. There is a hole on the bottom so you can attach to a tripod and has a connection so you can attach to a belt or even just hook it to your waist band. I can definitely see this is going to get lots of use.

I bought the Menider 3-in-1 Laser Measure Tool for my husband, and he absolutely loves it! It’s perfect for his DIY projects and work around the house. The digital LCD is clear and easy to read, and the self-locking feature makes it incredibly convenient to use. The laser measure has a great range of 60m, and the 5m tape measure is an added bonus.He also really appreciates the cross-line and dual-axis angle features—these make measuring and leveling so much easier. I got this "Menider 3-in-1 Laser Measure Tool - Digital LCD & Self-Locking, 60m Laser & 5m Tape" to try. This dual-use measure tool works well on both laser and tape measurements. There are 4 buttons for the laser functionality but I find myself only using 2. The laser is accurate based on my tests.The tap measure is very standard and nothing special about it. It functions just as your regular tap measure.This tool has a built-in battery which is charged via a built-in USB-C port. The price is very reasonable for its functionalities. I would recommend this product.

If you are looking for the ultimate tape measure that can measure area and subtract measurements, this combination laser and physical tape ruler measurer is very powerful and loaded with features. If you are looking for a simple measuring tool to measure the walls of a house or distance for photography settings, this tape measure is overkill and not intuitive.Likes:— Has both laser and steel tape ruler— Can set to measure based on the front or back of the tape measure— Can measure area and volume (also supports cosine and pythagorean measurements)— It will store your measurements, which can be retrieved after recycling the power— When you pull out the steel tape ruler, it says in place until the upper blue button reels it in— Has a clip to connect to your beltDislikes:— Not intuitive to use (luckily comes with readable instructions)— Cannot tell how charged it is while charging without turning it onThe on button (blue ON MEAS button) is separate from the Off button (‘C/OFF’). To change from meters to feet, long press the “+-U”) button. Long and short presses of the buttons mean different things.The battery (USB-C cable) appears to have a long life, and the charge can be seen at the top of the screen when the tape measure is on. According to the instructions, some versions of this device will connect to Bluetooth (device ZB-XX). I have an iPhone, which always requires an app, and no app name or QR code was listed for me to install, so I assume this particular version of the device does not support Bluetooth.If you read the instructions and get familiar with this device, it is very powerful, and could be a good choice if you make complex measurements often.

My husband's review of this tape measure:Disappointing. I was excited with a laser measure but unfortunately it is off by about 3.2 inches. I tried adjusting it but the instructions were all in Chinese and even google translate showed limited instructions. It has all kinds of room measurements which I will never use. I will use it as a basic tape measure but not worth the purchase.
