Very easy to use . Love how it's a continuous piece for projects that require more twine.

I purchased this raffia to compare it to the Wool and the Gang (WATG) Ra-Ra Raffia - hoping to find a less expensive raffia. But WATG wins! It’s $22 a roll - whereas this Amazon raffia was $18+ for 2 rolls. The price doesn’t make a difference when the quality of the WATG raffia is far superior to this raffia.Even though it was a tug-of-war with this raffia in making each single crochet with a size 3.5mm crochet hook, the final results is what made that all worthwhile! And with all that tugging and pulling to maintain an even tension throughout my crocheting, this raffia never broke! It is definitely strong and durable!Though, truth be told, I will never use this raffia again to crochet a hat - nor will I recommend it.It’ll probably be good for bags or if your project is done with a larger sized hook. This raffia was a true workout on one’s fingers and hands.I placed 19 lbs of weights on the brim to work the warps out of it - caused by the heat/humidity. This is done before the wire is joined. (See picture with medicine ball). And I’ll do this again after the last round of reverse sc. This is because the raffia is 100% craft paper - and it becomes very malleable in the humidity and heat; and the hat is stored in the laundry room where there is AC - and the raffia stiffens up.And I decided to not finish the last round with a reverse single crochet round. This raffia was not at all cooperative to be manipulated like that. After the hat was finished, I placed 14 lbs of weights on the brim to make sure it will maintain its shape,It’s a beautiful hat, yet I could only work three rounds a day when I got to the brim section of the hat because the strain was too much on my fingers and hands. Normally this pattern would take me 3 days to complete with the WATG raffia, or the Rewind Yarn (not raffia). But with this raffia, it took 9 days to complete this hat.I’m still giving this raffia 5 stars because the end result is a beautiful hat!

Very had to use due to lightness, but very sturdy…. Can’t wait to use on other projects!

Originally bought this for my bird so that he could chew and build things with it. He likes it, but it turns out my cat does too. A great alternative to string, since it's just paper. Great product!

I would order this again. I used it all last Xmas. It was fine with regular gift paper and the old fashioned brown Xmas paper both. I used traditional bows for some packages. But I did like this ❤️

I bought this raffia ribbon to crochet home goods (a basket and a water bottle holster). East to crochet with and my crafts came out very sturdy. I've bought multiple skeins--it is now my go-to raffia to use.

I bought a straw basket whose handles kinda dried up and fell apart and I was looking for some type of straw like ribbon to fix them. This worked just fine for what I needed. It’s a good product and I’m sure you can use it for many other things.
